Happy Valentine’s Day! Okay, I’m gonna guess most of us don’t care about that, but instead of flowers and chocolates, just make sure to watch some other reviews here-m.youtube.com/@watchreport/videos
When you happen to get a hacking Miyota 8 series movement version with a lighter skeletonised rotor, they aren't that bad. They're thinner and they keep time better than Seiko NH35 movements when regulated nicely.
Besides the crown shape and no bezel lock mecanism , and no crown protector ,the watch case from the side looks identical to a 41mm Yema superman watch case , who is with me ?
A nice looking watch, but I agree with all your criticisms. Another strange choice was that they limited the white version to only 100 pieces, which is a shame as I think it is the best looking and I would seriously have considered that one. Why do microbrands do such small runs on the best looking version? Don't they want to sell more watches?
You’re looking at the wrong model. I have the one I reviewed linked in description of this video but there are 2 different versions. The one I reviewed here with a ceramic bezel, matte dial and miyota 8215 movement, and a cheaper version with an acrylic bezel, stamped dial and a VH31 quartz. aboutvintage.com/collections/diver-watches/products/1956-marine-automatic-steel-blue aboutvintage.com/collections/diver-watches/products/1956-marine-quartz-steel-black

Every movement keeps time nicely when you regulate it.
This is an anti-tool watch, which may very well have been their intention. Make it look spiffy, cut costs on everything else.
After 30 minutes, that bezel is a guessing game.

They fail with weak lume on a dive watch.
They'd sell so many more pieces with great lume, even if the price went up a bit.
...great design though.
Agreed 👍

It's a marketing strategy to make one specific design looks or sounds more valuable. Unimatic has mastered that art
Is this TMI VH31 movement decent?
This is the automatic version with the Miyota 8215.
Also nothing wrong with the VH31 in a budget piece, it’s not as smooth as a mechanical buy it does the job.
@@watchreport I am confused, the website specs say it’s the VH31
