  • In this episode, I scope out a piece of land in Kerrick, MN. Will this become Bonsai Acres? Only time will tell.

Land looks good with a nice garage. Nice and secluded for you. Peace and quiet. Great assets for this land. Time to weigh the good and bad points and go from there. Love the ferns! Brings back memories of Michigan, U.P..

Hello Dave, is Ricardo remember me? I was one of your best cheerleaders till I fell ill, through it all I managed sometimes to catch your videos and when I do I always feel a lot better! If I may give you my 2cent worth, this is the one I would buy it checks more pluses than negatives and the scenery is beautiful. Your new opening is very nice 😊 just don’t discontinue twilight train. With the greatest respect for you as a man and friend Ricardo

    Nice chunk of land!
Lots of potential, I like it.
Maybe dig out some lowland and install a lake/pond? Use that soils to build up the higher ground?
Regardless, it looks like a great find.

Lovely place. Keep in mind that it's at the most wet it's going to be in decades, and therefore peak mosquito time too, so 99% of the time it will be better! Nice big trees too

Looks like you've found your dream!!!
I always thought mosquitoes need blood to reproduce...Maybe there's lots of animals there to suck on.

Wow - I was sold on it too Dave BUT...mosquitoes can be such a big issue. Trying to sit still and do bonsai or just sit and eat with family...how bad could it get in reality?

good questions my friend. It does make me a little nervous. Though with the wettest spring almost ever, perhaps this would be the worst?

Just extend the wall cladding down to the ground level from the inside by unfixing bottom sections of the cladding and slipping an appropriate material between existing walk and its fixing points of shed lower framework. As a carpenter it’s not that hard, and no need for too much earth movement.
