Got one of these for a friend for the holidays, just haven't gotten a chance to meet up with her. Probably good that it's a shorter experience since she isn't a vpet collector or anything, just a dabbler, so something she can play for a couple days and then put away until she wants to play again sounds ideal. Glad to hear you guys liked it!
If Devidude wants to learn a bit of Japanese, it could be fun to learn Katakana, which Digimon names are written in. It's not too hard to learn that and Hiragana.
