Just got my last guy moved over to roaches from crickets so was looking to expand my colony. I've had a colony for over a year and was also using primarily feed and then gut loading greens. But I never heard of this vitamin supplement and never thought to use strawberries. Thanks! Will be incorporating this into my routine. I was just searching around trying to find a bigger bin that people were using for this and now I'm glad I landed on your video.
Glad you found some value in the video! Check out my grasshopper colony video and consider breeding those too. My ackies and tree monitors lose their minds when they see one. They're like a drug to monitors, but they aren't cheap.
@@KylesMonitors Yeah i watched that too. Are you in the US? I don't think we're allowed to keep grasshoppers here(Texas) and yeah I'm completely jealous. The food response I've seen grass hoppers produce by their movements in animals is amazing. I thought they were illegal to ship in the states though... In several other places I frequent online I keep hearing about this one guy who has some kind of permit or something to be able to ship these guys stateside, but it's all cloak and dagger where you have to message him or something and I'm not trying to get arrested smuggling grasshoppers if it turns out to not be legit.
That's more than likely who I got mine from to start my colony years ago. His name is Khai. There's never been an issue with him, but check your local laws to be safe.
