Very good video, there is just a small mistake sorry, it’s “zona glomerulosa” and not “zona granulosa” in the adrenal cortex. Zona granulosa is for the skin. Otherwise this video is really good and it helped me a lot 👍👍

my boyfriend has serious issues with energy due to his high cortisol. one day i noticed he could only function for 7 hours and then he fell asleep immediately and it broke my heart. he sleeps for 12 hours a day approximately he works out eats VERY well (the only issue in his diet is that he doesnt really eat vegetables only fruits)
Very interesting topic but how can we maintain a healthy level of Cortisol in your body? What foods should we eat or don't eat and how can we tell on a daily basis if we have unhealthy level of Cortisol?
PLEASE HELP, what about just waking up from a nap, wanting to go ride my bike, feeling positive, but my body feels so stressed i start feeling like i have the flu, almost get nauseated too, not digestive issues but just body fatigue, all over unwell, if i have one or two drinks, i feel 90 percent better, it don't want to have to drink that often, what's happening.......my CT of the adrenals showed normal, but my cortisol is high and testosterone low. I'm a 47 year old male. I'm desperate. This started rapidly 2 years ago, still no answers.
This could be pots or adrenal issues caused by covid because covid can block normal blood pressure maintaining system (RAAS) so your body starts relying on stress hormones to gain blood pressure. If your heart rate is weird or racing when you stand up, that's a sign that this is whats happening. It is probably a symptom of long covi which i had. A good functional medicine doctor could potentially help.
Is it possible to have extreme sustained stress, that causes such high cortisol that it burns out the receptors of cortisol, causing one to have to constantly take high levels of Prednisone so that it can flood weak receptors? In other words, can you burn out receptors?

Cortisol may negatively affect bone density by altering bone turnover, impairing intestinal absorption and renal reabsorption of calcium, and, in premenopausal women, by inhibiting reproductive hormones
Thank you for the helpful video as usual. I have a question.my husband received a hydrocortisone shot yesterday. After 5 minutes, he started feeling dizziness, and his complexion turned awfully yellow. He barely could walk. Why ? I always believed Corton would reverse alergic!!!

Not a very good video in terms of explaining more of the described functions in depth. Leaves you having to do more research which is fine but not good for newbies needing a simple summarization

What is the role of cortisol during pregnancy?
Nd also what it's role in allergy?
Elevated cortisol during pregnancy is associated with adverse birth outcomes and may alter fetal development and subsequent adult health.
