Hey Wallie! I recorded a video about a week ago here. I mentioned in my video that I was surprised you hadn’t visited it yet. Then you post this before my video goes live! Lol. I just published mine.
@danielfoster3642 I hated that place my parents loved it I hated it my friend James he said he had a burger there said it was bland and not cooked well
Great video Wallie! I'm going to miss this location, as it was a pit stop for me when I went out to Indiana. That Cabela's here is awesome too! I highly recommend checking out the one in Hamburg, PA.
I love EP i go every Friday we know so many people there and its just like going to one of our friends house we have a good time there ever week..i love there fish the baked cod is my favorite its fantastic...
That's a shame they closed, and it also seems like this one is a newer model. Yeah, i've heard of Eat N Park closing locations further from Pittsburgh, like State College. They are building a new one in Bridgeville so I don't think the chain itself is dying. They also rebuilt others. I think maybe they realize getting too far away from Pittsburgh kind of hurt them?
An awesome video, Wallie! It's a shame that any business closes. I like Eat N Park, they have good food. When the Tridelphia, WV location was open, I have eaten there. I eat at the Weirton WV location on Three Springs Drive.
Hey @wallieb26 i just became a member of your patreon channel your ames videos are awesome Kmart and Sears i miss alot that company was the best company to work for both of them thank you so much for doing these videos 📸
Really the only family restaurant with breakfast in that area left is Bob Evans. There used to be Eat N Park, Cracker Barrel, and Bob Evans all within a few feet of each other. Now the next-closest breakfast option would probably be the Perkins by Oglebay, or the Denny’s off the Chestnut Street exit in Washington.
I will say that little area has really developed over the last 10 years or so. I love going to Cabelas, and that used sports store that just opened there is pretty cool to. Got a lat pulldown bar for my home gym for 15$. Shame cabelas doesnt have the resturante in there anymore or the conveniance store that used to sell the different kinds of fudge. I mean the conveniance store still has a few things in there, but not what it used to be.
Having sheetze that close together is to help one another. One was probably to busy to accommodate the shoppers so they had to build a second one. This is currently happening in RVA where sheetze and wawa are building sister station to help out bc they are to busy.
Titusville Florida has two 7-Elevens just as close one with gas pump and one without and it's the same distance as what you're looking at when you looked at the two sheets store
@@WallieB26 wow 3 shows?! We are planning on going to the Montréal show. Our 8 year old is coming along...she only has gas for 1 show at her age hahahah!! I am so stoked!
I just reaction on my part I see the exit sign lit up by sort of automatically assume that the alarm system is on and I used to work in a lot of different restaurants over the years I'm so old and tired now forget about it
Although I live in Washington Pennsylvania like 30 mins from here this eat n park wasn’t my closest location but I came here a few times. One of the times I came was not long after COVID when they reopened the inside a few years ago and it used to be busy. But when the last time I went in 2021 for lunch we were the only ones there. So COVID is one of the causes this place closed. It was an underperforming location and right by it actually is a Harley Davison that used to be a Cracker Barrel that closed many years ago before the eat n park did.
Personally, I'd rather park, go in, and eat, but maybe that's just m--wait that's a name of a restaurant... oops EDIT: On a more serious note, it's a shame they are going away. Never tried em though, don't have Eat N Parks in my area. Oh and BTW: That Sheetz situation is NOTHING! In my city of Cheyenne, there are two Sinclairs across the street from each other!
I'm a local. They lost most all their buisnes because refused to open buffet back up. There's another one 10 miles or so in st clairsville ohio that does have buffet so it's clear what happened. If anyone cares.
From Spring to fall I was at Cabela's every Wednesday delivering Live Bait and Tackle including Minnows and Shiners to nightcrawlers, meal worms and wax worms from when they opened in 2004 to 2020 when the guy I worked for sold the Live Bait part of the business to another wholesaler!!!!!! So in Southwest Pa from 1995 to 2020 the bait that you got at the bait shops I delivered and for 7 years I drove to Danville Va 2 nights a week to bring the minnows and shiners to Pa and from 1998 to 2003 I would drive to Akron Bait in Ohio to bring back minnows and shiners!!!!!!!

I recorded mine a few weeks ago but have been so backlogged I only just got to it. Haha
I was mad and sad when I heard that this Eat N Park was closing! I love Eat N Park!
@@awesomethings4658 Me too.
They only do the breakfast buffet on the weekends now and they no longer do the midnight buffet. Plus they close at 10 or 11 now.
Thanks for another outstanding video Wallie...i'm old enough to remember when Eat-N-Park was Pittsburgh's franchise of Big Boy Restaurants
I ate in that restaurant a couple of years ago, good food and service, sad to see it closed.
Bullshit it was bad food
@@MattDaugherty-jd7my I guess you can say it is unhealthy food.

Has a very 50's vibe outside, with a 60-70's vibe inside..
Absolutely.
They have a good fish sandwich. There is one at Ft. Stuben mall.

Cool video I've been to a Eat N Park in the past and it was very good! 👍
We had a eat n park in Mentor Ohio but it closed about a year ago. I really miss there breakfast buffet

Same thing happened with Primanti Brothers. I'm sure people from Detroit and Indianapolis had no idea what a Pittsburgh sandwich is.
Another great abandoned video from you! WallieB26!
Thanks for the video! 😊

They did.
Yess! Their Soup & Salad Bar is Awesome.
They did but not for like the last year and a half

ur correct i lived up there for 20 years it was to help with being too busy ect

Awesome video
It would be cool if you went to Lakeside Mall in Sterling heights,MI officially set to close in less than 60 days
That place looks awesome
I love Eat N Park.
What's inside of Restaurant you have hardly see possibly been few years ago I try out something Good Burger one Day.
Hey!! Did you see the announcement today, Dark Tranquillity and Amorphis are coming to North America in Sept/Oct?! Cannot wait!!

You should check out the Abandon family dollar in moundsville West Virginia
I grew up on smiley cookies.
Those Smiley Cookies are really good. 🍪🍪😀😀
I have never been to eat n park, as I live in Oregon. They sound good. Also when are you going to film a dollar tree video I miss those.
i love your videos
I had no idea that it had closed.
my home city of Raleigh nc has both cook out and chargrill
They closed the one in Bridgeport wv and put in a long horn steakhouse
I like Eat N Park, the food is very good and I compare it to Frisch’s Big Boy. I hope Eat N Park isn’t fading away. I love their cookies.
I actually compare Eat n Park to Southern chain Shoney's.
@@danielfoster3642 I can’t compare. Shoney’s, is a buffet. The food at Shoney’s is good tho.
I wonder if the one in Bridgeport WV is still open? At Rt 50 and I 79

Why is Eat n Park closing down locations little by little?
I think they are doing the same thing as King’s Family Restaurants.
