My Uncle and my Dad bought a 99 back in 2016, along with a 93 sp600. The Xp was bored to 998, and I think it had a few performance mods, because it could hit around 70, and it had insane acceleration. The only problem was it had a leak that no one could solve, so every time we wanted to ride it, we'd have to sit there and bail water out of it. In '17, when we got it back in the water, it was only going about 50, likely something to do with the impeller. We didn't put it on the water in '18, and come the summer of '19, when we put it on the water, it seized on us. It's been sitting in my uncles yard ever since, and no one has cared enough to take the time to try and fix it. We live an hour and a half away, and my uncle has too many other projects to care. This summer, i plan to try get that yellow rocket ship back on the water where it belongs!

Not sure if you ever got around to reviving your ski. Regarding the water ingress, I had a similar issue which nobody could resolve. I found myself that the water was getting in through loose bolt holes where the sponsons attach to the hull. Got new bolts and used marine silicone all around each bolt after installation and never had a leak since (that was in 2013).

Full bore makes an 1100cc kit. With skattrak impeller it puts you in the upper 60s with arm ripping holeshot. I have the 98 limited xp looking stock with the build.
