Primitive Popcorn & Eggs Breakfast in Chilly Desert

- With my clay kitchenwares and some basic food items I ventured out into the arid cold southern California desert and made a satisfying breakfast of popcorn, fried eggs, and baked yam at the campfire. I made the primitive cooking pot over 6 months ago and it still works great.
The temperature was chilly, at about 43 degrees Fahrenheit (6 degrees Celsius) but the wind made it even colder. You can see me shivering throughout the video.

Have you tried starting a fire by friction such as with a spindle and fireboard? I'm trying to recall if you have done that in one of your videos.
I haven't done fire making in a video but I have practiced it and have succeeded several times with the bow drill method. I want to improve my fire making abilities before I do the video.

I use an old Zoom H4N microphone that I bought 10 years ago. I place it as close as possible to the action without it being seen in the camera.
