Fish Baked in Clay on Primitive Rocket Stove
- An ancient technique to bake fish and meat is to wrap it in fresh clay and cook it on the hot coals. Plant leaves can be used to provide a barrier between the meat and clay although I did not use leaves in this video. After 45 minutes it should be done. After carefully removing the fish or meat the clay can easily be broken and the meal is ready to eat!

What I like about this is that in the beginning he is not shouting “what’s up guys I am back with another video”
I fell asleep watching this. Not because it was boring, but all of these episodes are so relaxing. Great videos man
Oh bro me too
And me! I love the fact there is no voiceover.
can't agree more
So relaxing
Same
A advice: Covering the fish in large leaves may help you keep the clay away from the fishmeat, making it easier for you to separate it from the clay as well as keeping the taste of the fish more pure.
I took the advice from another guy ho tried to cook venison with mud
the face after first bite of the fish was quite satisfied 🤣
😁
I just want to say, thankyou for making great videos. I can see how much time and dedication you put in these videos, all the Camera angles and the microphones are amazing. Great job!😁👍
Thank you very much! Yes, it is a lot of work for a one man crew.
Your videos always help me to relax
Being at my hut is so relaxing!

12:29 You should be in a cooking show as a chef and taste food like that.

The food doesn't have to be good, it have to be safe lol

It needs some primitive tatar sauce
Build something big enough that holds water to wash ur hands with. 🤲 Don’t get sick we need more of Chad 💪
Wow! , you predicted coronavirus!
For anyone who hasn't tried to cook fish like that, you don't need the clay, but you will need to be attentive as to not burn it, with all the herbs and what have you, you can make a dish with taste so good that nothing compares, awesome video
You should cover your fish by banana leaves before cover the clay 😁 love your video 👍❤️
sreyleap trea he’s in California where will he find banana leaves
Daniel Nguyen Exactly!
most kind of large leaves wld work
Good idea!

I just went on a three day binge watching your videos. Started with the snake island one. Pretty amazing stuff man. Keep up the great work and videos! Cant wait to watch more.
You made that fish look so delicious. You may have to make yourself some calf length moccasins and a chamois shirt for the cold winter days and nights to come. Maybe even a fur sleeping platform. I would love watch those episodes. Good video.
P.S. creating a small, clay lined tunnel from your stove and leading up to and under your hut floor can help to heat your sleeping matt. I hate to think of you getting cold.
It actually doesn't get very cold here. My weekly swims in the ocean all winter long seem to have made me less sensitive to cold but a heating system will definitely be helpful for the winter. I will be thinking about plans for this.
@@ChadZuberAdventures - awesome, I look forward to the video. Mind you I would never complain about you in videos with just your shorts on. ;)
@@raynoladominguez4730 Hahaha! That's good because I will be wearing shorts a little longer.
He’s survival he’s fire no sleeping bags
I love these videos so much. It really puts things into perspective for me.....watching you make everything you’ll need by hand, is so amazing....made me realize how much I take things for granted.
Absolutely marvelous. A completely energy efficient and ecologically sustainable manner of cooking. Awesome work.
Thank you!
7:56 love that garbage truck backing up in the distance 😂😂 probably picking up trash from his house right next to the hut
Chad, please tell me why I'm so addicted to watching your videos. Why is this so INTERESTING? Lol I love your videos please keep making them:D
A pleasure to watch. Thank you for uploading
Thank you for watching!
You should try to find some type of large leaf to wrap the fish in before the clay, it makes it a lot easier to eat, and you don’t have to chew on pieces of mud
A great video....thank you Chad.
Jajajaj
so great... thank Chad
I see you actually reply to the comments. Thanku so much for making such videos.
Aww, that smile showed how good it was.

i started to live like this in my back yard .you have inspired me
It's amazing how just eating that keeps that body
I very much enjoyed this video. It holds my attention from beginning to end. Very important! If you ever go from primative videos to apocalyptic survival videos you could use a automotive creeper to slide in and out of your hut when you get old. Better yet just ward off aging with exercise, good living and low stress. Take care brother!
Thanks Blake!

That fish looked so good...soft and moist...and it didn’t even need any seasoning.

You should make a wooden cart!🧐😀
That is a good idea!
Peaceful life🙂👍🏼
Gostei do peixe. 🐟👍💯
you should cover the fish with some kind of leaf like banana leaf or lotus leaf for protect the fish from burning and make the smell better, that is the traditional way in my country
Did you end up eating a lot of clay?
Do you spend all time there? Or sometime you go back home and come to the hut later?
I'm wondering how do you get the fish.
He probably catch the fish
I Really like videos Brother,Really so good Brother.
Thank you!

thanks!
well chad, before you cover that fish with clay i think it would be better if you cover the fish some wide leaves before clay so the clay and fish could separated and youll get original fish taste😊
Min 5:05
i wonder how many cameras do you have there?
If you get a good bed of coals and just throw the fish on when it turns black on one side turn it over when it gets black on that side it is done, no clay just good eating.
And then just peel the skin off to eat it?
