Excellent language skills! It is really fun to see your slightly-less-scripted answers while your freind is filming. Congratulations on 100k. It is so nice to share your videos. Thank you. ♡
this is actually a very cool concept for a video it's nice to see you live in the everyday life of the world aside from every body You are not like anyone and this is what makes you a special and exceptional person. I wish you a happy life and to everyone who reads my comment ❤️🥰💖😍😘🍓♥️
i am so intrigued by japanese culture. i love the way you treat cleanliness (no shoes indoors, students clean etc) and i love kimonos! they are elegant yet they look comfy like a robe. i wish we wore kimonos where i live!
A well-rounded yet relaxed life. If more of us worked on that, the world would be a better place. I'm glad you have a great buddy in Jasmine; true buddies are hard to find and priceless.
Dude, you've inspired me to become a minimalist. I'm feeling so much happier since I began my journey. The most important lesson I've learned through it is to focus on what is most important in your life. Arigatō gozaimasu!
I love this! Whenever I see a video of yours my day gets better, you also inspired me to clean my house and be Zen about it(I used to hate cleaning but you gave me a different outlook on it). Also I am a minimalist, but I rarely clean hahah now I changed that, so thanks for all of the good habits that you spread with such joy!🌿
If you ever wanna make matcha in front of an ancient temple or a nice beach, I'd love to see you in Greece! I have binge watching your videos and they are such an inspiration!!
Beautiful way to know you better! I did not write any questions when you asked because I knew many people would have similar questions as mine (except for the philosophical one and I really liked your answer!). Nice to (really) meet you and thanks for sharing so much (and in a simple way) Japanese culture! Hugs from South America! (By the way, I wrote many videos ago that you inspired me to learn Japanese and I am taking my first classes!).
I knew little about this lifestyle and randomly got suggested your vids a few months ago, because i watch Japanese stuff and love the culture. Your videos are inspiring, so keep it up!
Hello from switzerland🙂 You will be very welcome the day you decide to visit this beautiful country. Congratulations for your channel and all the ideas you share with us. Cheers
Wow 🎉congratulations I am glad to be part of your UA-cam friends. Doreen from Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. I liked your friend very much. She seems to be a kind person and a good friend. Stay safe.
Thank you for sharing some of your peaceful living. I really enjoy your videos and they are calming and refreshing in a maximalist culture. Seeing simple clean living inspires me to unclutter parts of my life.
Your videos are so relaxing and I really enjoy them. I was fascinated to see shots from around the Las Vegas Nevada area. I live there off of highway 160, near Red Rocks. Hope you enjoyed your visit.
I absolutely love your videos. I am very drawn to japanese culture as it seems such a great pairing with the minimalist lifestyle. My aim is to decorate my home inspired by japanese homes as soon as i have decluttered my belongings enough. Do you (or anyone else) have good book recommendations on practical japanese everyday living habits and rituals and why they should be practised? I would love to learn more.
Happy to exchange my Zen inspired minimalist apartment in the Swiss Alps (Lauenen-bei-Gstaad) for a year or two in Japan! Organic Matcha provided! Kyoto and Okinawa on my list. Switzerland is beautiful (The region I am in is breathtaking) but also the area around Lauterbrunnen and the Jungfrau mountain! Very popular among Japanese - having seen most of Switzerland, I still think the area around Gstaad and further up in the mountains (Lauenen and Lauenensee Lake) is the most beautiful unspoiled place (The 3 valleys) - Great for hiking.....and there are even 3 Japanese restaurants in the village of Gstaad. The best ones being at the Bellevue Palace Hotel (The Sushi Bar by Takehiko Yoshikawa), and the Alpina Hotel (Megu from NYC now has a place here). Switzerland has been great for 15 years for me, but now I'm ready for Japan (originally from California :) - Another great video! :) Arigato from Jasmine in Switzerland! 🥢🍵🍶🍣⛩ - best time to visit is June or early September. Only downside... its a very expensive country ...
congrats Aki on one of the many milestones! you have been an inspirational figure for me to be a minimalist. Also the tips you shared I now adapt and use in real life really appreciate you sharing your life journey!
Love your inspiring content & it brings back to the memories of 🇯🇵❤ If you will be exploring Europe anytime soon, dont forget to include my homeland - Lithuania ☺️
Hi Aki, I'm from Switzerland, and I'd be happy to help with your trip (organization / answering questions / place to sleep for a night / showing you around a bit (I have a bike as well...)). Also, I'm really interested in the custom kimono shop!
I’m here in the US and love your content. I have a question. How can one learn to perform the Japanese matcha tea ceremony? Would you ever consider making a few videos showing us the steps? I would love to incorporate it in my morning routine as a way to clear my mind before my day.
First of all, congratulations for your silver plaque! If you'll travel to Switzerland, please come to Italy! I live not far from the border and it would be great to meet you, even for a few minutes!
Thank you very much for your videos. It's very interesting to get some good ideas for minimalism concept, but also to learn from your passion of matcha tea and Japanese culture. It's a very beautiful country. Best regards!
Congrats Aki 🎉 I am your fans from Malaysia 🇲🇾 . I fall in love with minimalist lifestyle. As living alone salary man , gemini too . Your vidoes inspired me a lot. I started drink matcha daily too 💚
I enjoyed this video. ❤ Thank you to you and to the friend. The country side of Japan is sold! Cannot wait to visit Japan again soon and we’ll try to head to not just Tokyo and other typical tourist destinations but to one of your recommendations. 😊
Hi Aki, I think your attitude to non-Japanese people taking on aspects of Japanese culture (like wearing a Kimono) is very open and healthy. These days, we all worry about such things (I guess that is why you got the question so much) - all the issues around cultural appropriation… And I do understand that it is a huge issue if people take aspects of one culture without respect, understanding or even interest in it, especially when they then make money of it. That is NOT okay! But on the other hand, to a large extent this is how culture and art and life develop by learning from each other, by taking ideas from elsewhere and adapting them developing them further - where would the world be if the noodles of Chinese origin would never have been combined with tomatoes from South America and Basil which originates from Asia?! Surely a much sadder place without pasta al pomodoro (and, no, I am not even Italian). So along those lines, I really appreciate your attitude, I love learning from other cultures! Thank you for giving us insights. Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
Congratulations Aki!! 🎉 You deserve everything good in the world, you are such an amazing guy! Thank you for all the work you do to share the things you love with us all!
I’m happy I found your channel. You are very inspiring because I want to try some of the things you have talked about like matcha tea and minimalism and your interesting because your style is different than I’m used to so I think that’s cool. I also like hearing about small Japanese village life. Thank you for being yourself and not fake like other channels.
I recently discovered this channel, I'm curious about Japanese culture and this channel helps me a lot. You are making good content, keep doing it! Greetings from Ecuador 🌺✨

Congratulations 🎉. I love your channel. Your positivity and motivation are contagious. I hope you get 100,000 more subscribers very soon. Your content is always interesting, and the time you take to produce these videos is really appreciated. いつもありがとうございます😊
I really like the idea of having less things creates inner peace. I also think it would be better for the environment to live this way. Now as for myself, I am an English language teacher etc. in Sweden and a psychic medium. But in general I am not a minimalist although I am an expert sorter which makes things easier. So I know where to find anything I need. Cleaning is not easy when living the way I do but I still clean enough to get the day working. My two cats also really challenge me and I had to accept not being able to be as free and light-hearted as you let's say. I don't really want less stuff but I want more space...which is expensive so I'm trapped by my things and loved ones! 😄😻
I had my children 35 years ago and we didn't have so much money. We only had the necessary things for the babies, including reusable cloth nappies. Compared to the stuff young parents haul around these days, it was extremely minimal.
This year my childhood dream came true and I visited Japan for the first time! I rented a kimono there and loved it. It's such a cool experience and people were so kind when they saw me wearing it. I took pictures with locals and with other foreigners and received many compliments 🥰
your english got so much better! wow.. also, you have such a charisma, Aki..people can feel that you have a good heart..keep going and enjoy your everyday life 😊🗻🌏🍀
