I am so excited to see all the changes made on this new tS package compared to the others. If all is good or better than expected, I might consider it, although Catalyst4k covered most of these changes in his backwards compatible mods. Check him out if you haven't yet, cool vids.
Hahaha…..everyone hating on this car in the comments yet there will be a waiting list a mile long as they couldn’t keep pace with the regular BRZ. Most US Subaru dealerships received single digit allocations for 2023.
Did they fix the rtv, oil pressure issues on turns, and all of the other issues these cars come from factory? I swear Subaru never fails to sell brand new cars that want to blow from the factory.
They most likely changed to a cast iron knuckle because I bet it's actually a different knuckle to accommodate the larger front calipers and still fit with the stock BRZ wheel. It also may be that the aluminum knuckles aren't necessarily strong enough for this car, so they're putting a more resilient knuckle on the cars.
The aluminum knuckles fit similar Brembo calipers, but cause annoying noise due to frequency resonance when using certain brake pads. Pretty sure the "new" knuckle is the same as the one used on 2012-2020 BRZs, including those with Brembo.
The irony of increasing handling capability of this car is that it could make it less reliable. The engine oiling and RTV issues will loom over this car as long as they don’t address them
Ah, the classic UK vs US English. American dealerships segregating the community further ahead, starting with giving a 'complimentary' track membership people ought to take it confusedly as if it is an actual factory manufacturer's obligatory from Japan, and now the 3rd party performance package scheme dubbed BRZtS/Trueno. Why don't we just keep it simple and release a 10th Anniversary BRZ edition (blue lining/blackout BRZ emblem/Gloss black rims/Gloss black side-mirrors) with fully installed STi/performance package including those official LED side-strip bumper panels found in Japan?
Fully installed STI package would be nice, I think that was a question that was asked but they didn’t want to answer but now would have been a good time for it.
Guess you missed the part where he said for less flex 😂 But in all seriousness I bet they wanted to be more similar to the GR86. Seemed like a lot of buyers pick the Toyota over the Subaru becusse reviews say it has a stiffer and more sporty ride. Probably thought they were missing out on sales becusse of it. That's my guess.
@@Sgt_Snacks As an owner of the new BRZ, I would not want it to be 'more' sporty.... it's actually the perfect balance of sporty and drivability. (Originally wanted the GR86 and changed).
@@MKu64 I was actually looking to get a BRZ for the same reason. Hopefully it’s still tuned to be a bit softer for daily driving but we’ll see. I’ll probably still go BRZ because I like the Subaru brand better anyway.
So the same car but brembos & suspensions. Car that’s only pushing 228HP don’t really need brembos they just gonna burn out till you mod it with a supercharger/turbo kit. Big Pass.
Yawn same Subaru recipe for the last Gen BRZ. Brembos, few years later a couple more HP increase. 2026 I’m sure we’ll get a TS package with a carbon wing.
can i take right turns without blowing my engine now?
The #1 question everyone wants to know…… not even joking.
It's literally the only thing stopping me from placing an order. I would buy 2 if this issue was fixed.
I'm the guy in the green shirt and khaki pants in the background! That unveil was wild!
Nice to meet you. It was cool to be at
2018 BRZ Ts in the background
Any update regarding rtv issue?
No mention of it unfortunately. We’ll have to wait and see

They didn’t say, I wonder too
Doubtful tbh

Cost ?
They didn’t specify exact, but said similar to 2023.

Wtf… why would they change the aluminum knuckles to cast iron ones…

Who said aluminum has more flex? Shouldn’t it be stronger than cast?
@@CarsOverPeoplethe rep from Subaru said it himself in the video. Watch it again.

looks the same.
Just brembos and suspension changes
Its a trueno than ? 😂

Black or red yes … gold, please no.
