just don't wash them that often, wash them alone, and probably u should wash them manually

Love all of Dessaint’s content. All of these are perfect for monochromatic looks, or two color repeating outfits. My sneaker outfits are more based on utility and essential styles,
- minimalist white leather (optional black, navy, or burnished in the brown color family)
- canvas in off white, black, navy,
- suede dad shoe in subtle styles

Excellent video. I really wish Everlane would bring back the Tread Sneaker or at least have a comparable new style. I loved that sneaker. I still have them in 4 different colors and wished I could have snagged them in Olive. I sold the beige, regrettably, because I didn't know how to style them and it was a very bold beige/brownish color.

Hey Tim- would you ever consider making a video about creating intentional, put-together outfits with athletic wear? I'm someone who has sensory sensitivity issues and places a high priority on comfort, so I wind up wearing a lot of athletic clothing. I think some tips on how to make athletic pieces look... not so much like something slapped on with no thought just to run some errands (which is what I do all the time, lol) would be helpful. I thought of this because my go-to pair of shoes are always sneakers designed primarily for sport rather than fashion, although my current pair is black with white soles like one of the examples in the video, which conveniently means they look good with most of my outfits.

What's up Tim! I just recently watched your videos and I'm LOVING every single bit of them! I really like this new wave of fashion channels with a laid back kinda chill vibe and I found myself feeling much more confident in myself looking into different types of outfits (I've been rocking a streetwear-y style for most of my life). I also find these types of videos much more relatable compared to the other fashion advice channels. I just want you to know, you're killing it and, I know this is totally unrelated but I feel obligated to share this, you HAVE to look into the ketogenic diet and Intermittent fasting cuz it has given me the similar boost in happiness, confidence, and overall disposition as fashion has. IDK. I've just been getting amazing results with those two and I just feel obligated to share this to everyone. I'm all for body positivity but I also strongly believe everyone looks much better without the extra weight, plus getting to a lower body fat percentage has SOOOOO many benefits. You should create a website that let's people see your outfits when they search by season/color, and links people to your videos (and where to buy the clothes). This way, you can also update your list of basics, and/or add different things as styles change and new stores open/close.

Morning Brett! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙂 I'm 5'7'' and 132 lbs. I got the jacket in XS, but the sleeves are a tad long. I'd say an S or XS would fit you (go according to your usual jacket size).

Thanks Sam! They're super comfy! If you have wide feet though you might want to consider sizing up, because since they're a bit chunky they do feel a little tighter than other same-size sneakers with thinner material.

Tim great vid!! Just a side note but How would you compare these everlane chinos with asket ones?
Thanks John! Hmm they're both good but feel quite different, even though they're both 98% cotton/2% elastane (talking about Everlane midweight chino). The Asket chino is softer on the touch, feels smoother on the skin and a little heavier, but also holds on to dust easier. Everlane has several different chinos, each one is very different so there's something for every taste. I tried the air chino, the midweight one and the heavyweight one. Air chino is probably the more unique one, super lightweight and stretchy, perfect for summer. I would describe it as an even lighter version of Uniqlo's EZY pants. Midweight and heavyweight ones are more traditional chinos, the fabric is what you'd usually expect from a classic chino.

Streetwear has a very wide spectrum which can only help. Plus, there's a lot of great minimalistic streetwear which is the kind I tend to go for, but I do like a good statement sneaker when rocking that look.

I'd tone back the rest of the outfit when going for a neon piece, as it's a very bold color. Probably all black with 1 or two neon accents, or beige/cream tones for more of a nude look.

What's up, Tim! What size shoes do you usually wear and what size of the Everlane sneakers fit you well?
I'm usually around a size 7 US and that's also the size I wear in Everlane trainers (I wear 6.5 in their "court sneaker" model which sizes a little bigger).
For the trainers I'd recommend sizing up if you're in between two sizes.

Oo so many different ways! You can go full monochrome shades of grey, or incorporate them in a neutral color palette (think navy, grey, white, black), or use another piece of your outfit as a statement color and anchor it with neutrals, the grey sneakers being one of the neutrals.

Yo Tim! I'm a men's size 7.5 in my under armour sports shoe with some room left (around 3cm) in the toe box. Do you think I should stay in 7.5 or size up to an 8? I like my shoes snug but not tight.
For this specific model if you're in between two sizes I'd probably size up. But you can always just try both sizes and return the ones that doesn't fit as good.
