I think Nevsky deserves a mention. 12km radar that can be boosted to 39.6 seconds, the guns are lasers. Has a 140mm belt, and 50mm ice breaker belt.... makes it really troll. More like a heavy-light cruiser than a pure light
Nevsky is top 5. It was also banned last T10 Clan battles. The usage rate tells you everyone knows how good it is. I agree with your top 3. Mino is great but just pops too easy ....still love it though.
I can fully agree with you on the list of cruisers. Smolensk is the most scary one. As stated, Jinan, Marseille (French Stalingrad) and Nevsky are good mentions, but the radar tweaks the Soviet and US Ships.
I've alway ranked out with Salem... I prefer it over Des Moines, which is a bit strange considering the reduced radar range and lack of hydro, but in terms of cap contesting in ranked I've found that the 8.5 kilometer radar running for nearly a minute on Salem to be more than adequate. Just be careful in the more open water maps as it's not really designed to operate like that as you don't have the radar range to motivate Destroyers to keep there distance and prevent them from leaving you spotted. I would say that both Des Moines and Salem are for more advanced players that understand all the game mechanics as you can be sent back to the dockyard really quickly if you make even the slightest misplay. Heavy American cruisers seem very light these days.
Current damage output especially from secondary BBs is not kind to Des Moines. Salem is much more sustainable and a more consistent ship is current meta.
@@刘天旻 It's funny, I try different ships in ranked from time to time but I always find myself going back to Salem. It seems to strike the best balance between DPM and survivability, particularly if you like fast paced risky gameplay.
Picking a cruiser in silver and gold league is just griefing yourself with the current libertad/los andes spam. What do you bring that can realistically deal with it? Maybe jinan? Napoli? There's a reason why the lobby is always just 60 BBs 15 DDs and a few subs and CVs. Alternatively you could bring a cruiser that doesnt get shit on as hard as others and cuck the enemy team out of one ship.
I like the info. Nice video again 👍👍👍🍻 I hawe Moskva but i found it a bit usless. Why , because HE sheels don not start any fires , AP do not pen a lot of times and have low DMG. Is a super camper ship only to use the radar 🫣👎👎 So i do not like Moskva.
Cruisers I am afraid of (I’m a dd main) this season are Napoli’s pushing with Libertad’s. And Hildes from the ridiculous spotting they bring. Other cruisers are getting huge grief from the Pan Am BBs and the Colombo’s. Are you actually using these ships or is this just theoretical?? Any ships sitting bow in are getting totally smashed by secondaries and fires. And DDs working flanks and torping into ships hiding next to islands. Had a game last night where an enemy shima got two devstrikes from one salvo. This is not a happy time for cruisers.
@@deaninchina01 I have played stalingrad myself in these Libertad spams. This is my current winrate in Stalingrad for Ranked. wows-numbers.com/player/555434308,usman3300/?type=rank . The bow in for any cruiser right now while not able to disengage around hugging islands is a huge mistake, most players will do fighting against them.

I think i am in between picking F.Sherman, Marceau or Moskva. What should i pick ?
Deck height above the water is called free board.

yeah its this, you are either a bad DD or bad BB, just pick a good Bb or DD
Totally agree, you have to be able to withstand pushing pan ams.
Been running F3 Shima and Colombo.
Colombo and F3s are hard counters to Pan Am BBs.
@@deaninchina01 what's an "f3 shima"?
@@robc2742 shima gets 3 different torpedo types, 8, 12 and 20km range ones iirc, f3 is the name od one of them, not sure which ones exactly
how come there's no satsuma on the list?
i was playing my stalingrad a few days ago, i was bow on to a columbo at 15k and in 3 salvos i was done
@@joedoe6444 Stalingrad needs to be played at range in reverse kiting position. I have a video of stalingrad for exactly that.
Do show broadside to any BBs, especially SAP Bombs from Colombo, which are deadly to anyone.

Is demoin much better than Salem?
Salem is tankier than demoines but has less powerful radar and no hydro, unless you swap it for radar.

Well but Shima is one of the oldest ships in the game, right? That wouldn't count as a game changer as is the recent addition of panam bbs
