Problem about Elbing is you are as big as Cruiser have no Hydro. In the Radar Torpedo Meta it is not Easy to play the Elbing. You also get Out spotted all the Time so you cant really contest Cap at the Beginning.
Have you actually played ranked this season? Hardly any of the ships you recommend are being played this season. Ranked you are going to be facing multiple Libertad, los Andes and sometimes Colombo’s, and ranked is about small team play, specifically taking/denying caps. And with all the secondary ships pushing in spotting distance, and likely smoke is crucial. Almost never see CV in gold ranked, and usually only noobs take them in silver. Open water farming in a DD is incredibly risky this season. You are way over valuing guns for this season, and ignoring concealment especially with the secondary BBs that are extremely popular. DDs have to spot and cap contest. I’m seeing shima, Lushun, Z42/52 and YY as by far the most common dds, with quite a few kitas. Got into gold using F3 Shima. Simple tactic is to sail sideways around caps until you spot enemy dd then play to keep them spotted for the pan am BBs to kill.
Smaland sun tsu says the best victory is when you win without drawing your sword . Smaland radar works this way by chasing away enemy dds from cup who refuse to contest becuse they afraid of radar. You take cap for free and you can score a ton of spoting damage. Definitely decides the outcome of the battle.
Yeah this was disappointing didn’t rank them and compare what divs or teams each is stronger with. I know this in for ranked but it’s good info for newer players who are trying to get better
