nice work w/ the yak power switch - do you have to unplug that from the battery to prevent constant draw, or does it not draw anything when switched off ?
Hobie H-rail mighty mount. Be careful, there are two. There's the older one with flat sides and then there's a newer one with notches on sides to accommodate the new yakattack base
I haven't heard of many people with a 14 wish they got a 12, but there are many people who got a 12 wish they got a 14. The 14 is wider by 2 inches and longer by 20 versus the 12. For offshore I would like it to be wider and longer. But a lot of people love the outback for offshore
Not gonna lie, it's not the easiest to paddle because of it's width. To use the fins you need about 18" of water. If you're launching from a boat ramp it's usually deep enough, front a kayak launch or a beach, you have to paddle a little bit until it's deep enough
What’s the little lowrance white puck on the front starboard side? You passed over it.
Lowrance point 1. It keeps the direction of your bow oriented with your gps
@@andrewmconrad thanks! thats badass
How has it held up throughout the years if you still have it? Thinking of buying mine
Do you surf launch, sir? Awesome setup!
Great setup...
Shows the difference between the men and the boys...The price of the toys...
Awesome rig, much to envy and copy.
Thanks for sharing.
What a beast bro 🤘🏼
Great video, I have the same issues with mirror sides and OCD 😂....clean set up👍
Lol, thanks.
Use the push pole thru a scupper hole when micro pole is down to lock into a position

It'll kill the batteries for sure, so I unplug them after every outing
@@andrewmconrad thx for that - why the NMEA 2k ?
For the point1. It orients the bow with the gps.
Im torn between getting this or the old town predator 132 big water pdl. Ur setup is clean Its nudging me in the hobie direction
Quick question how do you get your yakattack rod holders onto your rails

Thanks bud
Came out nice
Awsome set up genius
What leash is that for the drive? Thanks for sharing.
If the drive isn't locked in or I flip it won't be lost. $25 leash vs $800 drive
Sweet video!
What's connected to the NMEA network?
The NMEA connects the point1 for orientation
Torn between the pa 12 and 14. I want to go offshore also
