- Install Android 9 x86 on PC 2021 | Android VMware | Fix Android X86 Black Screen | Android X86 PC in VMWare Workstation 15. Android 9 PC Tutorial is about AndroidX86 Install on PC or Laptop. The Android 9 PIE X86 is Stable and Working fine. Android X86 PIE will be Installed on VMware on your PC and can be used to Run Android Apps and Android Games on your PC.
Sometimes Android X86 not Booting and Shows Grub Loading Error 17 while Booting AndroidX86 on your PC. This Error can be resolved easily and solution for Grub Loading Error 17 on VMware is Provided in This Tutorial Video. Android X86 not Starting and Shows Detecting Android-X86 found at /dev/sda1 error is solved in this tutorial video. This Android 9 X86 for PC Installation method is working and doesn't comes up with any sort of error.

Yes it can but they need all kernel 4.9 all under android 8.0 like android 7.1 he like automatic has the kernel 4.9 android 6.0 too and android 5.0 i think too but if android kitkat he will yes can grab that but he use an different name of gpu of cours new android 9 whit kernel 4.9 too will be work for some unknow reasons at first boot after finish installation he will do like 1280x768 later whit reboot or other 1280x760 idk why but ok anyways any android x86 who have kernel 4.9 works fine and yeha android 9 whit uefi and all he like can run vulkan u can get few bugs at boot but later workd waring in gaming should to have bug but ok anyways this its all he can work only whit kernel 4.9 the graphics and fine.
LOL to get the android 3d acceleration (graphics driver)download the version of Androidx86 whit write down k49 this mean kernel4.9 so create the vm(virtual machine) machine like in the video run the installation like in the video and after reboot boot directly whit skipping part (nomodeset xforcevesa)because the graphics driver will not run and you will have problem whit shmoot like in the video,also the graphic driver get a more bigger screen and some shmoot whit this u can run games, also to have it working you need go in graphic setting of the virtual machine and go in display and add 3d acceleration and also give 1gb or 2gb of video memory for run games and run shmoot.

Guys to get the gpu workd use an kernel 4.9 in downloads of android x86 kernel49 but it can runs only on 64bits cpu and uefi for more good experience if you ahve an SSD you can add an NVMe disk to boot a bit much faster anyways kernel 4.9 helps android run VMware GPU.

That is related to issues with the grub. For X86 there are some issues with the normal boots.

Its the changes in GPU execution. Its done to instruct to no load graphic driver and boot without graphic driver. These are instructions to kernel only.

What's the difference between this and android emulators? Is this better than android emulators?
Different Approach. In Android emulator s only BlueStacks works insanely fast. But BlueStacks is not available on Linux. Anbox works great on Linux.

The nomode/forcevesa works to get the gui up, but the changes aren't saved on a reboot. Any way to get those grub settings saved permanently?

Los que no entendieron las instrucciones son las siguientes. Aunque no me resultó.. se quedó en bucle, press enter, luego escribir exit dos veces, y continúa, y finalmente se queda en un bucle.
Seleccionar la primera o cualquiera de las entradas del boot de instalación, son 4 opciones del grub ya instalado.
Presiona E dos veces seguidas para editar, luego la tecla Inicio para ir al comienzo de la línea, y añadir nomodeset xforcevesa_ después de kernel. Presiona Enter, y luego B para lanzar el boot. No olvides borrar quiet de la línea, y si no te sale el guión bajo_ presiona la tecla Shift y ?
Es decir..
grub edit> kernel /android/kernel nomodeset xforcevesa_ root=/dev/....
en Mayúsculas para el que no puede ajustar la calidad de reproducción del video.
GRUB EDIT> KERNEL /ANDROID/KERNEL NOMODESET XFORCEVESA_ ROOT=/DEV_RA...
A mi no me sale la versión del Kernel por eso lo escribí así.. solo vale lo que debes añadir.

Al fin sale el ANDROID, y mientras escribo aparece en pantalla "System UI ins't responding" Close app or Wait. Esto porque termine intentando instalar Android en 3 computadoras, mas los intentos virtuales. Ya se completó la instalación en la otra PC.
Esto es lo que hice en la máquina virtual, para que lo apliquen en la real, aunque todo eso ya lo había aplicado. Es porque comencé de cero, otra vez.
>> Cree un nuevo disco duro virtual, y esta vez resultó. Aunque ajuste la configuración de la máquina virtual como la ram, usar gráficos de la máquina real, aumentar 1 núcleo, y ajustar la resolución a la misma de la pantalla real "Use host setting for monitors", además de reiniciar la BIOS de la máquina real y volver a habilitar el soporte de virtualización por hardware. También desactive el soporte de impresora, y sound card.

You didn't add the xforcevesa command in grub edit. Watch the video again to see how to add that line.

downlaod the version where says kernel49 and its for 64bits cpu so add kernl (other linux 4.x 64 bits) later UEFI for best experience and if you have an ssd you can run it whit an NVMe virtual disk to boot and run all much faster pratycally kernel4.9 helps use VMware gpu so it likes good lrger screen but not too much anyways use kernel49 (kernel4.9) it says in downlaods of androidx86 run the installation in advance options and auto becasue he workd whit GPT in uefi and i think you dont know use GPT tool so use the auto he add automatic the GPT.

download the kernel49 in downlaod it make sure grab VMware real gpu graphics render driver you get bogger screen and much fluid you can play like roblox and other but it can be lag becasue it runs whit OpenGL 2.0 becasue of the Mesa 19 but if you want try android 8.1 x86 kernel 49 it has mesa 18 but you can have problems whit graphics like in roblox the problem is the light but it will run whit 3.0 open gl

In my case I have this resolution 1152x864x32 = mode 342 hex = 834 dec - you need to change the 834 number to your needs.
After loading Android, press Alt+F1 to open the console. In the console, run the commands.
mkdir /mnt/sda
mount /dev/block/sda1 /mnt/sda
Edit the GRUB bootloader boot menu with the text editor vi:
vi /mnt/sda/grub/menu.lst
After editing, my first boot loader option string contains:
..../kernel nomodeset vga=834 root=/dev/ram0 ....
In vi, arrow keys to move, x to delete, i to insert (start typing), Esc (when finished typing), then type :wq! to write changes to the file and quit

Found the solution!
You have to edit menu.lst file. Here is how:
boot in debug mode (usually the second option in boot menu)
when booting stops (for me it just hangs there with flashing cursor and without any prompt) enter mount -o remount,rw /mnt
enter cd /mnt/grub
enter vi menu.lst
press Shift+a
right under the first boot entry find the line starting with kernel initrd=/in (your line might look different; it depends on Android version; in general just find the line that starts with kernel)
at the end of the line type vga=834 nomodeset xforcevesa
press ESC then :wq - these commands will save the file and quit vi
enter cd /
enter umount /mnt
enter reboot -f

Ok now i say you how to install it: if you do the setup Minimal go on advance options and click on (auto install on specific disk) and same for UEFI (uefi have anthored graphic installation of installation but the buttons and all are the same)after reboot do not go or edit something NO USE (NOMODESET XFORCE)NO USE IT becasue it not give you the driver for video card of VMware anyways this is all say me if this works :).
