no one demos switching patches on these multi effects units. that's the most important thing since most people want to switch to a different sound with one button. so does this unit have any latency when switching between patches? typically there's a 0.5 second delay on most units. how does this one fair against all others?
two years late but these guys have a feature where reverb tails and overtones blend in the changeover to keep the sound interruption down. i only know this because i just read it somewhere else lol
Recently purchased the gigboard but this video is misleading some of the rigs seen are not on the rig list must be third party downloads from where ? I.e Treadzilla and Supremecln
Hey man! the Pedal board has a stereo FX loop while the gigboard is only mono. as well as an assignable expression pedal that can do about 20+ different things other than volume
Tom My thoughts too. You could protect it with a piece of plexiglass but you have to remove that when you want to change the settings. I would attach it at the top with gaffa tape and flip it over when you want to touch the screen.
So when Playin in a live situation and you want more than 4 pedals in your chain, how can you easily get around it as there are only 4 switches on the unit?
I’m wondering the same. I just ordered one myself and I’m looking forward to checking it out. The display shows more than 4 emulated stomp boxes but as far as switching more than 4 on and off during a gig I’m not sure how that would work. 🤔
@@MsPedro444 It needs at least 18V instead of 9V for normal pedals because higher voltage will leave much wider headroom and the dynamic range of the sound would be much better. I am not sure about the current requirement. An iPad needs 10W to run and all the analoge and digital circuit of it besides the main SoC and LCd don't seem to require that much of power.
@@cuanyu A lot of pedals take voltage up from 9 to 18 or 24v. Power is power, it doen't matters. if it's at 9, 12 or 24v, at the end it's the same watts. But if specs is 18v@3.8 amps, it will need like 7amps for 9v, that is criminal.
The headrush guy is talking to everyone like they know all about this pedal, and he is giving you a refresher 🤦♀️, Seriously he is the worst teacher of this amazing device by the looks of it , totally put me off buying it !! Very glad mr absolute mentioned how to put delay and reverb in the effects loop

Shit im absolutely sold.
They're using choptones patches, it really sounds like that but with choptones IRs, that's the trick
Curious as to how all of a sudden there's like, 400 videos of this thing all over UA-cam. HR did well to keep this a secret!
I love Dan in all this videos

Hi,
Gigboard and pedaboard exactly same about fx, amp models, sound quality etc... ? By the gigboard is just small one or any proc cons ? Thanks

Been using fx for decades (multi as stomp) imho this is the benchmark.
Mind that three MXR pedals can do $600 easy.
so you can't turn scenes off and on ??? i have this pedal and once you make a scene it can't be turned off!? am i trippin?
I'd be so worried about that touchscreen and how easy in a gig situation a foot could go through that. I hope it's super tough!
naaa you shouldnt be able to hit it lol
its not that close to the buttons
I have the big one and the structure seems to be fairly rigid although I have never stomped onto the screen for the obvious reason.

CC translates gigboard as “Dick Board”. A much smaller unit 😂
Hi, can we use for live performance, or not, please?
Yes
Метал можно записывать на нём или нет?
if want to use it with a power bank as power supply which one i could use with this ?
the power input of this device is a 19V 3.42A. You probably would need a power bank which can start the engine of a car.
really ?! damn . . . thats unpractical . thanks !
