I love old small lamps, they were made with such beautiful details! I loved this video! Thank you for sharing Lisa! God Bless you and your loved ones! 🙏🦋
The pitcher look 100 times better. And I loved the lamp and I think the white wax made the design in the lamp more evident which I really liked. So no you did not make a mistake. Everything look great and worked well together! And oh my goodness the pumpkin was something. Very unique. I have not them like this and it was awesome.
All look beautiful Lisa. I love the colour of the flower jug, it looks gorgeous now it’s been painted. I also love the lamp, it looks so nice the way you’ve done it. The pumpkins are lovely too. TFS. God Bless you and your family Lisa.
Another great video, painting that frame made the roses pop, beautiful. I have similar lamp shades in my shabby chic bedroom, love them and have had so many compliments.
I absolutely love the sea glass color. The pitcher is beautiful, and what a difference the color change made on the frame. Everything turned out beautiful as always. Thank you so much Lisa for sharing! God bless you!
Always such beautiful creations. I think all of us really look forward to and cherish your videos. Thank you for sharing your techniques and even the rare thing like regretting the wax on the lamp. It looks beautiful with or without the wax. Your creations always inspire me. Blessings
Love, love, love the lamp. The shade is awesome. I have a shade that I can do this to. I've made those small roses, but kept twisting the fabric always in the same direction. I like yours much better. I'll have to try them your way. I think that hardened felt would make a good base instead of paper. The shabby chic pumpkins are really pretty too.
Beautiful Lisa, I feel so spoilt getting two videos so close together. My husband thinks I'm addicted to your channel lol. (Shhhh I am) I adore the gentle pretty shabby chic look so feminine.
I absolutely love the picture it’s beautiful. But when you started taking the lamp shade apart I wanted to reach through the phone and grab it. I absolutely loved it. I have to say I also love the way you did the lamp shade also. It turned out beautiful. The picture frame really made a difference after you painted it. Everything turned out awesome. Thanks for sharing your talents with us Lisa.
@@ourshabbycottage8553 Well that makes me feel better. And what you did with it really turned out beautiful. You always do such neat things. I really enjoy your videos and look forward to seeing what you create.
Every single one of these projects turned out beautifully. I have an old lamp shade that I can use to recreate yours. I knew I held on to it for some reason. Great video! 👍
Well just when I think there's no more inspiration that could be had, you show up and prove me wrong. I'm in love with your projects! Also, side note to your viewers, If you will watch the advertisements at least 30 seconds through before you skip, I've heard that will help her channel out, please do it!
Suggestion: Anytime you paint on glass or ceramic & are cleaning with alcohol, wear plastic gloves. The oils in our hands and fingers can leave a residue on the glassware. Paint may go on fine, but after awhile, paint may flake off!
Beautiful projects Love the pitcher. I added that color yesterday to my list of paints I want to get. And I love the pumpkin. So pretty. Thanks for sharing.
If you used Waverley wax? You can take it off with alcohol. As long as you don’t spray a topcoat over it. I went antique wax happy on a white console table. And I read somewhere to use alcohol. And it worked. I’m loving the sea glass color.
Oh gosh Lisa! Such great pieces pure talent. Thank you for teaching as you go. So very helpful. Keep up the good work we all look forward to each and every video! You ARE loved!
I bought my first Dixie Bell paint based on your usage but mine is so thick. Yours seems to glide on any object, wondering why that is. I’ve had to water down the paint in order to cover my project easily and evenly. I spent more than I usually do and I want to stretch it as far as I can. Is your paint thick and is it ok that I water it down?
I haven’t had that issue yet. You might ask for a replacement. I think adding water is fine but it will lessen the pigment somewhat. I actually got a can of Dixie Belle white wax that was apparently past it’s shelf life. I’m going to ask for a refund on it.
I have 2 lamps kinda like that, 1 doesn't have a shade, the other has a shade made out of the same metal and has yellow stained glass in it.. they're very heavy , think I'm going to do what you did to yours, thanks a bunch

Lisa, you could put a chandelier low watt bulb on the lamp and it would probably be safer as well as pretty.
Thank you ❤️. Great tip!

Thank you so much sweet friend ❤️. As are you🙂
I am older but new to this. Could you tell me what kind of cloth is the tea towel made of? I’m making a bow and I think that cloth would be perfect!
I buy these tea towels by the pack at Dollar General and at Walmart. They are easy to find.🙂

What would you make with a dining table pedestal?
Wow, I’ve never considered that! Surely you could make something awesome! I will give it some thought. 🙂
🤗🤗🤗👍👍
❤️
Almost had a heart attack when you ripped off lampshade what a waste it was so cute
The shade had cracks in it and practically crumbled when I removed it.
What brand of paint and wax are you using please? I love the sea glass!!!!
This is Dixie Belle paints and waxes.🙂
What paint did you use for the picture frame? Its beautiful !
I use Dixie Belle “Cotton” and clear wax with DB “Gravel Road”
I have 2 lamps kinda like that, 1 doesn't have a shade, the other has a shade made out of the same metal and has yellow stained glass in it.. they're very heavy , think I'm going to do what you did to yours, thanks a bunch
