can they fake the Hologram Thread? cuz i got a New era 5 panel floral hat it's weird cuz it has bad stiching but has a Hologram thread on it.

I have never seen a fake hologram thread of New Era. Even if they try, they cannot deploy it regularly and include all the elements that the real hologram thread has.
The problem is that New Era has ditched the hologram thread altogether. Recent originals don't have it and it makes them easier to replicate

I just noticed some new era caps say 9 Fifty and some say 9 Forty. Is the 9 Fifty a fake or is that a different line?

The New Era 9FORTY adjustable hat is a different line. It is a mixture of the 39THIRTY and the 9FIFTY styles
