I recommend the Key Dial for lefties. I have one and it makes your work easier when it comes to sculpting. you avoid being all crooked by pressing keys
very straight forward review, well done! I grabbed the Kamvas 16 in early 2022, unfortunately I got severely ill for 6 months and wasn't able to use it until now so this is a nice video to get back into it. Cheers!
Hello just a quick question. I recently bought a kamvas 16 to use with zbrush and I can't seem to get alt zoom navigation to work with the pen. I have alt assigned to one of the pen buttons and I'm able to pan just fine. When I release the button instead of smoothly scaling it'll snap and often cause an unwanted pen stroke. Have you had this issue? Also using alt on my laptop or the side hotkeys work without an issue, its just the pen that causes this problem.
hey thank you for this. I have certain concerns regarding ergonomics of such displays. I am going to buy this for the first time, so it would be nice to know from expert and long term users. In my many years of using a normal wacom small tablet, I am experiencing wrist pain after sculpting continuously on zbrush(only).I have just recently started sculpting. I never experienced it on 3dsmax etc. I understand its the number of repeated strokes and travel of the hand that matters. Now my question is how important is it to consider the travel across the screen, the perfect angle, resting area border(dead space) to be able to reach the bottom corners without getting off the screen surface. i feel bigger may not necessarily be better, if it gives shoulder pain along with wrist pain :) But then again would anybody know what would be the best ratio to optimize screen estate and ergonomics.
I have a problem. I can draw and the tablet reads the pen, but when I extend the displays the pen only works on the pc screen not the tablet screen. how do I fix this?
first you have to use the display settings inside of windows to decide wether to mirror or extend the screen. once you decide that you can go to huion app and select the active screen
regarding the last advice about using an *arm* to move the tablet around, does someone have a good suggestion to purchase? does it have an arm specifically made for it, or are there ones who just hold up larger tablets? thank you for anyone who wishes to chip in and enlighten me with their knowledge🙏
I have seen some people use this glue stripes to attach them to telescopic arms, this is the one im thinking of getting: www.amazon.com.mx/Redlemon-Hidr%C3%A1ulico-Horizontal-Movimientos-Instalaci%C3%B3n/dp/B09NFB3JFL/ref=sr_1_4?__mk_es_MX=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=1P0VIV2UVM3NX&keywords=soporte%2Bmovible%2Bmonitor&qid=1695318718&sprefix=soporte%2Bmovible%2Bmonito%2Caps%2C172&sr=8-4&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.628a2120-cf12-4882-b7cf-30e681beb181&th=1
Hello again, please tell me what size tablet better , I’m now trying to choose a tablet and I don’t know which is better, big or small size , 15 inch small ?
i honestrly havent tried the xp pen tablets. But some of my friends prefer the feel of the pen in the huion one. They are in a similar tier i would say in relation to price and quality
Hey, I currently have an Artist Pro 15.6 that I can't use because the cable is broken. Both of the replacements were DOA with the same short the first one had! :( I wanted to ask if the Kamvas 16's 3-in-1 cable had a similar issue for anyone, or if the cable's fine. The USB-C connector on my 15.6 Pro always developed a short at a bend that connected the cable to the tablet, I'm hoping this one doesn't have that issue.
I'm currently using the Wacom Cintiq Pro 32" and Wacom Intuos Pro Small as my main pen display and tablet. Is it okay if I buy this as a portable display tablet for travel?
@@AbeLeal3D I mean, will I have any negative experience with this? I saw everyone say Wacom is the best and others are junky. Actually, I had a lot of bad experiences with my Cintiq Pro 32; only the pen part is okay (just okay, not great). I'm looking forward to replacing Cintiq with the new Kamvas Pro in the future.
@@PDaavyy well as with anything there are always opinions but I have been using Huion for the past 4 years and haven't had any issues so far. Sometimes drivers need to be update but other than that I haven't had any issue
im not entirely sure, i havent worked with surfaces, but make sure they can run zbrush or your usual graphic softwares as well as having enough pressure levels and it might work.
Hey, I have been trying to connect my android samsung galaxy s22 ultra phone to my kamvas 16 but the screen just flashes the huion logo and the power button just flashes red and green instead of connecting. I lost the original cable that came with the tablet so im using the usb c to usb c cable from an ipad but I'm not sure if that's whats causing the problem. If anyone knows what's wrong with my set up please help me! Thanks 😊
Yeah it's probably the cables. Not all USB c cables are the same, some transfer data some don't, done charge some don't. I have heard that you must use the ones from the tablet unfortunately, I believe they do sell replacements from their official store.
yeah i got that part. i just googled it too. It seems only the versions without etched glasses are the ones that need screen protectors like this version you're using @@AbeLeal3D

yes definitely a really good tablet for the price! and thanks for the kind words!
Hey, I think its possible to apply a new matte screen as well. Its a film that is replacable. So the scrathed one can be removed.

just recently picked up one for 200 euros on ebay 😄
Make sure to update to the latest driver

hold up, slow down, I need a protective cover? as in i have to buy it?
why won't it just come with the box?
No no it's not needed it comes with one, but it does wear out relatively fast I might need to change my soon after only 2 years

sir what is your GPU and CPU specs?
i currently have a RTX 3080TI and a Ryzen 5800x
Does it work for digital animators too?
Yeah of course. If you are going to be using the blue pencil on Maya tu draw arcs and guides this could be a great way to do it.
this is 1920 x 1080 right ?
Yes this model is full hd (1920 x 1080) I did a new review recently on one pen display with higher resolution if that is what you are looking for
