Fun fact about Eda Clawthorne: apparently, she was once married to grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls. Yep, you've read that correctly. There's an episode where Stan talks about how he was married for a single day, while in Las Vegas, to a woman named Marilyn, but she ran away with his casino winnings. He describes her having pale bingo hall skin, one weirdly sharp tooth, and thought that her hair was probably fake. He also mentions that she was wearing a bright pink shirt reading "over 30 and very flirty", and in a concept art from the show you can see Eda with a very similar shirt that reads "30 and flirty", she also has a mug with that tagline on the show itself. In a 2018 edition of a Gravity Falls graphic novel is possible to see a wanted poster with a silhouette that is unmistakably Eda. In the episode "Yesderday's Lies" we also learn that Eda had a pseudonym whenever she went to the human realm, and the very name she used was Marilyn. So yeah. Eda x Grunkle Stan is a thing. The phenomenon of watching too much Drawfee is that you can mouth the words of certain Drawfee-isms along with the hosts like a movie you've seen a thousand times, despite having never seen the episode. The dark side of this phenomenon is when the hosts miss a chance for a very obvious Drawfee-ism, and you're left there mouthing the words, but no one is saying anything out loud.
The dark side of this phenomenon is also the bizarre dream it gave me the other night. I'm so glad my sister watches drawfee also otherwise the curse would just be living in my head
It's just difficult when you go back to normal life and no one understands the drawfee-isms and they just look at you for an explanation and you just can't.
Just wanna say, thanks for starting to draw on grey backgrounds. The pure white backgrounds used to be blinding if watched at night. This is much easier on the eyes, and I appreciate it very much. My favorite part about the utterly cursed transformations (duck tongue to Eda-tooth) is that they're actually more accurate to Animorphs lore than a smooth transition would be. Despite the iconic covers, morphing in the books is described as utter body horror.
@@caitlynstarrparrish Including the morphs accurately would be impossible. Not only would you have to osmosis Jones a lot of it, since many of the descriptions focus on what the kids organs and bones are doing, it would be like adapting Warrior Cats in a visual medium. Jacob seems to be the default "I was gonna have another more horrendous name, but they landed on this" name
Nathan basically made the Darkwing Duck character Magica De Spell as if she's had a hard few years.
The phenomenon of watching too much Drawfee is that you can mouth the words of certain Drawfee-isms along with the hosts like a movie you've seen a thousand times, despite having never seen the episode.
The dark side of this phenomenon is when the hosts miss a chance for a very obvious Drawfee-ism, and you're left there mouthing the words, but no one is saying anything out loud.
oh gosh, yes. see also: watching a new episode with a friend and saying the joke before they do
The dark side of this phenomenon is also the bizarre dream it gave me the other night. I'm so glad my sister watches drawfee also otherwise the curse would just be living in my head
It's just difficult when you go back to normal life and no one understands the drawfee-isms and they just look at you for an explanation and you just can't.
The last 20 seconds of this video lmao they didnt let Julia get of the hook without the "sorry"
Just wanna say, thanks for starting to draw on grey backgrounds. The pure white backgrounds used to be blinding if watched at night. This is much easier on the eyes, and I appreciate it very much.
Edit: I think im crazy, cuz I looked back at older stuff, and its been on a slight grey background for some time. Maybe my screen settings changed and its better on my eyes now?. Lol, idk
😊
Idk. I did think they started going to a slightly grey background after one of their twitch streams where Karina didn't want to draw on a white background. But I might be wrong.
Nathan, thank you for the Adventure Time deep cut with BMO and Football. I want you to know it hasn't gone unappreciated
Speed Draw Suggestion: Finishing off *each others CHILDHOOD drawings*
Similar to the 'Finishing each others line art' episode. But adding in the old 'Redrawing our childhood drawings' episodes.
Interpreting each others childhood scribbles into full artistic beauty ~☆
My immediate thought on seeing Karina's characters was "The bow should become the eyes!" and honestly now I really want to see that.
I love the aesthetic choice to ignore Julia's "tongue tooth, woo-oo"
Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed is actually one my favorite books to read to kids, so it was kind of surreal to hear it come up here! It's really cute and it sends a great message to kids about being accepting of other people.
This episode gave me a great idea for an episode. Draw a Drawfee AU based on rodeo clown Zachary Andrews with guest appearances by Oscar Meyer Yaffe, Sophia Lepetit, and Maria Farek.
6 minutes in and we’ve already reached ‘hats are just sausage casing for the top of your head’ nice to know the particular brand of cursed Drawfee takes are still going strong
Drawing Suggestion: Drawing random Pokedex entries as Dark Souls bosses
Elden Ring bosses as Dark Souls bosses
now I want to know what driftloon is gonna look like
The most Drawfee prompt of all time
@@galahad9895 Elden Ring Bosses as Pokemon
F yea
"Tongue become teeth"
"that's illegal"
never let Karina see an actual duck's tongue
I just went through a major depressive episode, and I want to thank you guys for always being something I can watch that helps me feel better and turn off the bad thoughts in my head, thank you guys for being so wonderful.
Draw Animorphs aliens just based on their descriptions! I love seeing different artists interpretations of Andalites.
Oh no, Jacob stopped his morbing in the middle of it.
It wasn’t morbin time :c
To answer the question of what Tobin Wolf, the creator of Thundercats, invented, he apparently patented mostly different children's toys and games, as well as a toilet sanitizer with a disposable container for some reason.
Disney: "We are canceling the Owl House because it does not fit the Disney Brand."
The Owl House if it fit the Disney Brand:

Really loved Nathan's. It looks great and was amazingly cohesive. Thought it was very smart how he turned the tail into the dress.
You just dug up childhood memories of mine by mentioning the naked mole rat book. I remember thinking it was weird and now I am experiencing that same feeling right now.
Rankin-Bass, the people who created all those great stop-motion holiday specials, created Thundercats.
Next up, Character Middle-MORB Drawing Challenge, where you draw characters while they're in the middle of morbing out
"What do ducks eat?"
"They like, put their bills under the water..."
For what, to do the underwater equivalent of doing taxes?
Fun fact; the Howard the Duck live action movie did actually give me trauma! I was at a daycare where the staff seemingly did not care at all, they put that movie on VHS and just left us in a room with it playing. I think I was 4?
The frightening comparison between Stewie-O and Hisoka made me pause the video to let out a god awful wail and tear up because of the sheer horror of that statement
Watching this while anxiously awaiting the arrival of my glorious p’boy. I cannot wait to enhance this drawfee experience once he graces me with his presence
Same here! I’d kind of forgotten I pre ordered one and was so pleasantly surprised by the shipping notice! I’m so glad they allowed further orders after they sold out so quickly.
@@thebadpoet me too! I hope your p’boy gets to you as smooth as can be :)
The render on Nathan’s is so perfect!
SPEED DRAWING SUGGESTION: advertisement posters for a nonsense product, like a yell-powered bicycle or a handheld toaster, idk but I know y'all would have fun, and Nathan would riff SO hard.
getting a lot of shonen vibes from the bicycle idea, yep
That's literally an art school assignment my friends had to do lmao
a handheld toaster isn't necessarily nonsensical, just a bad idea.
I love Julia sing "Tongue Tooth" to the tune of Duck Tales, highlight for me.
I just found out yesterday the artist who did the Animorph covers has an Etsy where they sell them as full as prints so this could not be better timed with that kind of news
Okay but Nathan's tail-to-dress-dance is so perfect i can practically see the animation.
I’m morphing into a person who appreciates Nathan’s art style more every day.
Edit: and I love that Karina doesn’t agree with me on this one
Edit to the edit… what does Drawfee have against Zac… I’m a Zac… limps away injured*
whens the next edit
i’m sorry Zac
It’s ok, they said they’re sorry xx
Julia's drawing kinda looks like Baby Yoda, the most famous detective with a five-o'clock shadow.
"This is Stewie Griffin at an ICP show," maybe one of the greatest phrases uttered by Jacob
i’m frightened by the accuracy of nathan’s drawing
You should design characters based on desserts with weird names, like pandowdies, tiny raspberry fools, and grunts! My birthday is next month, and this episode would be an excellent gift!
Haven’t had a truly cursed Julia drawing in a while so this was a treat
"Put this up in the room with the Mona Lisa" well now you have to Animorph some classic art
i love the classic art episode(s?)!
prometheus bound middle-morph into saturn eating his son when??? the tamptations of saint anthony middle morphed into the witches sabbath???
its impressive the way drawfee can talk about what if naked mole rat but in clothes for several minutes, and then reference buff rufus 10 minutes later in a completely unrelated context
Idk if Jacob was making some kinda 5d chess reference to kingdom hearts when he said 'simple and clean' during Nathan's drawing, but it seems so intentional with Donald Duck there. Maybe I'm just crazy.
Love this episode, where Nathan just makes his Ducktales OC
My favorite part about the utterly cursed transformations (duck tongue to Eda-tooth) is that they're actually more accurate to Animorphs lore than a smooth transition would be. Despite the iconic covers, morphing in the books is described as utter body horror.
Something the incredibly short lived TV series did not include & I remember being very disappointed abt as a kid.
@@caitlynstarrparrish Yeah! Big same. I have a whole essay on how much of a disappointment that show was...
@@caitlynstarrparrish Including the morphs accurately would be impossible. Not only would you have to osmosis Jones a lot of it, since many of the descriptions focus on what the kids organs and bones are doing, it would be like adapting Warrior Cats in a visual medium. Just because of how things work, it would stop being appropriate for the age group. Heck, reading the books as a teenager, I only skimmed those passages instead of fully imagining it.
@@AbsolXGuardian ok
3:25 I love Edna from the Owngl Hounce, but mostly I'm just invested in the relationship between Loose and Mabambity
Omg the ending clip of Julia not saying sorry was so funny 😂
forgot what the episode title was and genuinely thought jacob was gonna say "oh no i'm morbing" please help me
Suggestion: Draw “Random Word Generator” Witches.
Ended up getting ones like ‘Virus’ Witch, ‘Medal’ Witch, ‘Detective’ Witch, ‘Laundry’ Witch, ‘Guitar’ Witch, and ‘Cheese’ Witch.
Just sounds like a fun time. 😊
For anyone looking for art inspiration, I ran the random word generator to get different witches and today got the following:
‘Rubber’ Witch, ‘Volleyball’ Witch, and ‘Flotsam’ Witch
For zanier ones here two word combo prompts:
‘Apathetic Yak’ Witch
‘Mayhem Tutor’ Witch
‘Mortified Psychologist’ Witch
@@edwinadunn1433 Now I want to see a “Chocolate” Witch
THIS IS SUCH A GOOD PROMPT
let's please try to get this to the top of the comment section, because this is an amazing prompt
I think Julia’s Stewio character looks like Phil from Disney’s Hercules, who’s voiced by the legend himself Danny Devito
Drawfee suggestion! dinosaur lies have many possible applications
you already did the bone game with them but
you've done tons of different scientific name episodes, all dinosaurs are known by the scientific name, also please choose Irritator challengeri as one because it's such a good name
also, a challenge in the style of no control, or like the pose challenge, where you make a list of paleontological blunders and give them to each other, like putting claws or horns or spikes literally anywhere else on the body, or getting the neck and tail confused, there's a lot of wild stuff to choose from
The face of the mid morph between Donald and Eda reminds me of Miss Frizzle from the Magic School Bus
To add to Julia's thought experiment, there are fur covered mole rats. They are called the common mole rat.
8:22 everytime Julia does a ducktales I have to pause the episode to laugh for a solid 10 seconds it always catches me off guard
