  • Swirl Painting my first guitar with testors enamel model paints. This was the second attempt because i was unhappy with the first result. These aren't the best paints to swirl with, if you have the time to order Humbrol Enamels use those, otherwise these work pretty decently.

    YA NO WHAT AS LONG AS YOU LIKE IT THAT'S ALL THAT FRICKIN MATTERS MAN! You were doing a tutorial & showing people how You do this & using whatever damn colors you wanted to correct?! It's a test and trial thing you never know what it's going to turn out like when you're doing this . I mean some people just need to shut their f---ing mouth because I don't recall you ever asking anyone if you did it correctly or not! And it looks completely crazy awesome! Great job man & please keep up the great videos on here! ❤️

    Hello!
    I really enjoyed your presentation, or the best technique to paint your guitar, but tell me one thing What kind of paint that you put in the water? It is oil paint? It is acrylic paint? .. The result is FANTASTIC ... loved it ... please answer me, ok ?! hugs

    Question did you have to put borax in the water to help the paint float? Hope I get an answer I don't know how old this video is but I'm doing a guitar too but iv already messed it up once with the spray paint it dried too quick and clumped up and wanted to do this next and it looks like you had great success.

    haha I love it! My first guitar was a Squier Stagemaster, over the years I've upgraded / modified / changed most parts of it... It looks and sounds NOTHING like it did when I first got it, I just love how it feels... Probably just the relationship one has with their first guitar.... Grow and evolve with it! That guitar has character, turned out nice 8-) Have fun with it!

    Thanks, there are a lot of videos showing the method, but not what is used so that is so neat. It would be a fun technique to try on other things besides guitars. Does the temp of the water need to be a special temperature?

    • @gabrielsaether8077
      @gabrielsaether8077 8 років тому

    @dtkourt1995 I sanded the guitar down smooth to bare wood ( Optional ). You only have to sand off the top layer of paint. I used a couple cans of white primer so that the colors would be brighter after the guitar-swirling. I also sanding in between coats to retain smoothness. Thats it basically, If you do this make sure you add 1.5 tablespoons of borax for every gallon of water used. Make sure the water is 72 - 78 Degrees Fahrenheit.
