- Swirl Painting my first guitar with testors enamel model paints. This was the second attempt because i was unhappy with the first result. These aren't the best paints to swirl with, if you have the time to order Humbrol Enamels use those, otherwise these work pretty decently.

Every time I watch these vids I learn something new... I like the way you zig zag the guitar body in the paint to get that awesome look...
Wow! That is so cool! I have never seen anything like this; that looks like a lot of fun.
That looks so freaking awesome! I'll definitly do this with one of my guitars!
Some people just don't have appreciation for fine art looks great man :D
I love this. It looks so cool!
people are trippin, thats one of the best looking guitars ive seen, props
neato! Not sure I'd do this to any of my guitars, but I love the idea that every single item you did this to would be 100% unique.
It turned out great! Congratulations on the new looks and your will to do it yourself.
looks sweet. came out way better than i was thinking it would. may have to try this myself.
wow it looks a lot nicer than i thought it would
It's really nice to see someone do this to a guitar that isn't a strat.
okay, that is pretty stellar!
wow, it came out way cooler than i expected!
This looks amazing!!
Amazing choice of colors. I love it
YA NO WHAT AS LONG AS YOU LIKE IT THAT'S ALL THAT FRICKIN MATTERS MAN! You were doing a tutorial & showing people how You do this & using whatever damn colors you wanted to correct?! It's a test and trial thing you never know what it's going to turn out like when you're doing this . I mean some people just need to shut their f---ing mouth because I don't recall you ever asking anyone if you did it correctly or not! And it looks completely crazy awesome! Great job man & please keep up the great videos on here! ❤️
The winds of Thor are blowing cold while you deep fried that sg :) good job
that looks SO sick
Dunno what you all talking about, i like it!
What do you do with the Guitar after swirling? Clear coat?

I think it looks awesome man!!!
Nice technique. Thumbs up, dude!
That is pretty cool. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for posting, that looks very cool and it's totally your own. Ignore the critics who don't like your colors, that's such a subjective thing and yours came out great. Their axes will look pretty Plain Jane next to yours.
Fantastic job!
it looks awesome
wicked! love it!
THE GUITAR LOOKS AMAZING
Ficou da hora ! Lindo mesmo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
So awesome. I might do this if I ever make a custom strat.

Beautify is in the eye of the beholder.
Hello!
I really enjoyed your presentation, or the best technique to paint your guitar, but tell me one thing What kind of paint that you put in the water? It is oil paint? It is acrylic paint? .. The result is FANTASTIC ... loved it ... please answer me, ok ?! hugs
Testors enamel
muy bien amigo , te mereces muchos likes.
that thing is cool looking man good job
Dude, didn't think that would come out so well. Massive props for trying that with your first guitar as well, it looks awesome! got a any pictures of it all screwed back together with neck and hardware?
Finished pics?! Looks awesome!
Question did you have to put borax in the water to help the paint float? Hope I get an answer I don't know how old this video is but I'm doing a guitar too but iv already messed it up once with the spray paint it dried too quick and clumped up and wanted to do this next and it looks like you had great success.
I love it :D I think it's rad!
That was a great result.
first guitar i ever had as well. very nice
reminds of clapton's ''the fool'' sg. very nice result dude!
That's tight,nice job
haha I love it! My first guitar was a Squier Stagemaster, over the years I've upgraded / modified / changed most parts of it... It looks and sounds NOTHING like it did when I first got it, I just love how it feels... Probably just the relationship one has with their first guitar.... Grow and evolve with it! That guitar has character, turned out nice 8-) Have fun with it!
I've only done marbling on paper and fabric. I think your guitar came out great!!!!!
cool cant wait to do my fender good video dude
That is very cool!! I would choose different colors but hey we all have different tast.
nice color dude..do we have to spray lacquer or clear after that??
That looks pretty cool
i think it looks awesome
Awesome love colors is that water and paint how do you keep paint on
did you use water as separator paint or other chemical liquid.
looks sick
Beautiful job!
Thanks, there are a lot of videos showing the method, but not what is used so that is so neat. It would be a fun technique to try on other things besides guitars. Does the temp of the water need to be a special temperature?
it should be warm. then the paint wont stiffen up when you swirl it like the orange in this video! :)
78 degrees farenheit, or 23 degrees celcius
This guitar loocrazy awesome :D
how do you stop it from sticking to the stir stick?
Good choice of colors!
did you put borax in the water?
looks epic
actually does look really cool, looks like something people would play in the 80s, BUT THT MAKES IT EVEN BETER
dude!! that looks sooo trippy!
im totally going to do this!
very nice,bravo
That's badass
amazing dude!
Wow! For some reason Eric Clapton and Cream comes to mind. Very niiiice!
this is really cool,..and it looks excellent,...
Very well done
ITS AWESOME
@dtkourt1995 I sanded the guitar down smooth to bare wood ( Optional ). You only have to sand off the top layer of paint. I used a couple cans of white primer so that the colors would be brighter after the guitar-swirling. I also sanding in between coats to retain smoothness. Thats it basically, If you do this make sure you add 1.5 tablespoons of borax for every gallon of water used. Make sure the water is 72 - 78 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Sir what is borax?
Looks great dudes :D
any guitar is a very nice guitar. most pros prefer cheaper ones so they can set it up how they want. looks like that's what you're doin' here. great job!
Super sweet! I got an Epiphone SG Special too and I sometimes wish mine was green only instead of red. XD
fuckin sick, one of the coolest swirls I think Ive seen on YT so far
SO COOL!!
Awesome!
Beautiful colors... This is Acrílico Paint on Water...!!! Congratuletions. Look Nice.
Good Question Did he borax the water First or Plain water Or Substitute Paint Rising Additive?
Pretty cool looking

What kind of cars do you water and coating ordinary or special
Badass. Clapton would be proud.
Great job!
what materials do you use ? are they easy to find ? Looks insane and I got the need to give it a try !
very cool man, came out great! So is that a big vat of water so the oil based paint doesn't blend?
That's an awesome work man well done. What kinda paint did you use for that work?
Good job bud!
That is pretty effing awesome
It sounds more colorful now :-)
Extremely cool. How much of the testors paints were involved?!?
