All the guitars you have done look great, but this one is a jewel. The videos are entertaining to watch, thanks for sharing
Yes totally agree i liked this one so much i kept it for myself cheers!
By far the best swirl i've seen....just perfect!
I have watched every swirling video on UA-cam and have came to the conclusion that you Sir, are the Master! This guitar is simply breathtakingly beautiful!! I am a 61 year old musician who paints autos for a living, until I get home and then I paint guitars for a guitar store in town. This has blown me away. I hope to master this someday, even halfway master!! Thinking of a small business in my garage to supplement my income. Hope I don't waste my money on Humbrol.
i love to watch these swirling videos on yt, it's so relaxing, just to see the painting floating on the water ..
The patterns of the paint on the surface of the water is hypnotizing.
All these other guys doing swirls that look like they puked skittles into a tub.
But you guys, You guys are awesome at this.
Maybe give Vai a call for some custom work.
Thanks for sharing these.
just watched around 30 of these vids, this finish is my favourite by a long shot! 👍
Yes turned out really nice!
I was literally drooling when you turned the guitar around and showed the back.
Wow... I never see something like this before! Is like a digital impression, each guitar has one different.
Yes came out really good guitar has now been clear coated and polished to a high gloss getting ready for hardware
One of the finest Ive seen...now don't let that go to yer head !
I love the funny looking tools you use to dip them in with. Truly OTT
All guitars that we have SWIRLED have been sold!!
I bet lot's of people have tried this, but it never came out as good as this one. Great job. You need to make a dvd about this process , you'll will make a few bucks. Thanks for posting. PS I will probley give it a try and be like the rest of the people. Woun't be as good as your's
Yes it does look great looks even better now hardware is fitted. Will post vid when finished cheers!

That's a real top class taste, one of the best I've seen in UA-cam
Yes totally agree!!
Very nice!
This reminds me of water marbling for finger nails. So cool.
Oh my goodness this is magical.
LOVE that metallic on there.... esp. like how the (from my view) upper left hand corner turned out- It looks really good & stands out (whether by error or not) having that extra little bit of black there, as compared to everywhere else. Nice work fellas & yes.... I agree that this one turned out mighty "Saaa-weeeeeeeet" looking! =) Well done!
mmanda515 Thanks!!
One of your best looking ones!
This termination is excellent, will try in future work, thanks for sharing :)

no probs!!
That one is better than most.
Thankyou
WOW.......just WOW.....
Cheers thanks!
Can you do a video on the prep for swirling
That looks amazing! One of the best I've seen. I've heard that metallic doesn't work well for swirling, but obviously it can. What kind of metallic paint is that?
No probs!!!
Yes you are!!
Yes i agree!!
Cheers!
i think you are swirling a whole lot bet than others I've seen. keeping it simple seems the best way.
Wow ! These are amazing , Great job guys !! :)
Thanks.
This is art!
Thankyou!
NICE
You should try to get a glow in the dark paint and mix that in with some darker colors
Thanks Man!!
cheers Thanks!
Enrique Iglesias in background badass
I love it. I have watched many videos on this and I get the concept of everything but what kind of paint. One says testers enamel another says no. one says gloss is hard. I would think you can have bad results with any type of paint if your not a professional. Which alot of the people are just giving there own opinion. Which is good. But for someone who just wants do a one time job on their own guitar is there a better paint to use thats maybe more user friendly. I don't want a pro job but something i will like noing i did it myself
I love the enrique iglesias in the background :)
best one yet
YES WE DO!!
damn It's really awesome....
Thanks Mr Dean!!!
It it any wonder it turned out good the amount if paint that was used was a bit OTT but it did turn out right in the end ..
that guitar looks beautiful
Yes totally agree looks so good i kept this one for myself
MrDean2005 can you make a video on how it sounds
MrDean2005 Yep this what i would do. :)
yes totally agree looks awesome
You should try one face down instead of vertical, could be cool.
Or make as perfect circles as you can and see how that turns out, (with your regular method)
No not yet!
Black is the absence of light,
White is all colours of light roughly evenly mixed, so I would agree that "black is not a colour" if you're being really pedantic, and depending how you define "colour"
Yes every guitar is different no 2 are the same almost like a fingerprint!
Uploaded a slideshow of my first Swirl attempt with black and white Humbrol paints. I know people claim they can't find Humbrol in the U.S. Hornbys America sells em everyday and all colors. Didn't turn out half bad. Just type in my name to see the pics and disregard the pinkish cast my phone camera put on the pics! Cheers!! And thank you for the videos and the inspiration!!
this one is amazing!
It's probably an oil based enamel. Water based paints would dissolve in the water bath.
Can you do a wood grain swirl?
fucking sick as videos great work man, i loved your swirls so much i had to subscribe :)
Hi there. İve been watching a few of you videos and i thnk they are pretty cool. But this one is awsome. I want to try this on a few things. waht type of paint do you use and what else do you put in the water? Thanks
I'm wondering if you can also make a specific 'patern' with this technique or is this swirling lines the only possibility?
This is one is the best one I have seen now! Amazing colors and amazing result!
that guitar is awesome, its like a golden zeebra!
Freakin awesome!
Thanks!
how do you get the paint so perfect
like to see it
