Working in Botswana, I attended their Independence Day from the UK. Speaking to a major friend of mine he told me and this was reverberated through the crowd as I introduced myself as an Englishman, they celebrate being part of the British Empire now, the Commonwealth of Nations. They celebrated and thanked me a humble contractor . I was very proud of them and us, beautiful people beautiful country. 😂

St George was Greek, not Turkish. Turkey came into existence on 29 October 1923.
She's just a gas lighter, nothing more, she never converses, always interrupts and never has a point to what she says.

If St George is a patron saint in multiple countries does that mean Portugal can’t fly their flag ? Is she unaware that patron saints are symbols not real people (St George and the Dragon?) and symbolic of the spread of Christianity across Europe? It doesn’t matter where he was or wasn’t born! St Patrick wasn’t Irish and St Andrew wasn’t Scottish. So what? And a nation is never going to put a a foreign nation’s interests first!

She wrongly asserted that St George was Turkish because he was born in Turkey. Not only was that incorrect back then, but even today most countries don’t confer citizenship automatically to everyone born in their territory. If you are born to immigrant parents in Turkey then you are not a Turkish citizen at birth.

Not everything in life needs to be "inclusive". Exclusive makes things valuable and desirable.
It's also exclusive in the exact same way I'm not Han Chinese or a member of the Zulu tribe in South Africa. It's not hard to comprehend that being English is an ethnicity.
Only we have to inclusive, this doesn't apply to foreign ( specifically non European) groups.

I find it very difficult to listen to a single word from racist, thankless people. On the one hand, their repellent views should be known; on the other, it makes for difficult digestion of my evening meal.
In this clip, Rafe really seems to have enormous patience and forbearance with the most ignorant and intellectually inferior of people. I often reach the stage with those who abuse the generosity and innate kindness of citizens of this wonderful country of wishing to pay their travelling expenses to another country (one way) out of my own pocket.

Whitby is one of my favourite holiday destinations; a trip on the NYMR is obligatory from Grosmont to Pickering. In Pickering lies Saint Peter and Saint Paul’s church, a grade I listed building with 15th century wall paintings one of which depicts SAINT GEORGE SLAYING A DRAGON.

Working in Botswana, I attended their Independence Day from the UK. Speaking to a major friend of mine he told me and this was reverberated through the crowd as I introduced myself as an Englishman, they celebrate being part of the British Empire now, the Commonwealth of Nations. They celebrated and thanked me a humble contractor . I was very proud of them and us, beautiful people beautiful country. 😂
