Thanks for the balance and detailed review! Other Singaporean youtubers have been reviewing it in a "fanboy" perspective, which is honestly quite off-putting. This definitely deserves more views!!! 💯
Im a bit sceptical about the roof heat not being there. Just watched an Australian reviewer complaining about heat radiation from the roof. Also with the new 2024 model 3, Tesla has said the previous road noise and harsh ride is much reduced. Ive been watching many vids and also considering this car. Overall I got a some good info from your vid thanks
@@CarLifeSG Have you tried leaving the car at an open carpark for a day before? Singapore's hot sun isn't kidding. Wanna know if this sun roof can defeat the greenhouse effect or not?
Will u come out part 3 to explain the hire purchase + COE loan details? Or even trade in old ICE car to Tesla details? I believe most of us would like to know more details about this... Thank You!
bro do a video on your thoughts of the tesla compared to other auto makers. is it on par with those automakers with many years of experience building cars?
tesla is way ahead of any competitors for sure asia.nikkei.com/Spotlight/Most-read-in-2020/Tesla-teardown-finds-electronics-6-years-ahead-of-Toyota-and-VW www.forbes.com/sites/moorinsights/2020/03/05/tesla-is-years-ahead-of-competitors-with-no-signs-of-stopping/
this is such a detailed review, thanks for sharing! just curious, do u know which telco partners with Tesla for the sim card? i would imagine them changing to Starlink in the future
I believe so.. the branding is strong, it's also cheaper than the popular C-Class/3 Series etc. and the car sells itself. drive one and you'll understand why people buy it
Great review! Do you get mileage anxiety when the car is running low on battery (While on errand or rushing for places) but you are not near the only 2 Tesla supercharger?
Wanted to ask if you can address a few concerns - everything is via automation. If electronics breakdown under our very hot sun.. is there a manual over ride ? Or you are stuck - the main screen (large LCD controls everything) does Tesla provides any warranty for the screen , if it breaks or shutdown.. does it mean you got no way to control anything in the car ? Just the 2 points above, I would say that this car cannot last more than 5 years in Singapore weather. Agree ?
@@hztjtao Mm.. Even if so, I can’t lock the door , I can’t wind down my window, etc..etc.. I guess it is just meant to drive to the nearest workshop, like having a punctured tire..
Does the marking at 4:05 detects low kerbs by road side? E.g if we are a traffic junction doing a tight U-Turn and worried about hitting the kerb, does this help?
Have experience with most european cars interior seats as a car dealer, i prefer tesla's the best, comfy is the feeling and can sit on it for long without feeling awkward or any feeling of aches.
The Best Balanced View/Review in Singapore! Kudos to the Reviewer :)
Thank you 🙏
@@CarLifeSG if you'd like to have a go at full self driving in Singapore. Let me know!

Welcomed 🙏
Best unbiased review. I got a lot of information from this video.
Nice sound effects 🤣 Great and comprehensive review, especially showing the auto steer in Singapore traffic
Thank you!
19:32 Autopilot is enabled. FSD is optional. Auto lane change comes from FSD.
Would love to see the Taycan next! thanks for the video very informative!
Firstly the sun is directly penetrating into your car.
Amazing overview of the car! 👏
Extremely clear demonstration! Straight forward

Thanks for sharing! Great insights into owning a Tesla in SEA
Thank you once again... very useful info for those who are new to driving Tesla Model 3 and soon coming Model Y as well...
Happy to help!
I guess being a typical kiasu singaporean...drivers definitely will be installing solar film on the roof and rear window for more "tint"
My experience with the glass roof was great! It’s not hot inside the car at all
@@CarLifeSG Have you tried leaving the car at an open carpark for a day before? Singapore's hot sun isn't kidding. Wanna know if this sun roof can defeat the greenhouse effect or not?
No I didn’t but I’m guessing it’s gonna get hot like in any other car since the windows and windshield don’t have the heat resistant film
Sick stuff, v informative!
Appreciate it!
wow simply love your review video & definitely the Model 3 as well
Very gd n informative. Thank you
As a geek I'd like to experience sitting in 1. Nevermind driving it, being driven is good enough🤭
Will u come out part 3 to explain the hire purchase + COE loan details? Or even trade in old ICE car to Tesla details? I believe most of us would like to know more details about this...
Thank You!
Is the SIM card going to work in Msia/Thailand?
Your revving sound effect cute la bro. 😂
Wont the keycard slide around when you are driving with it on the center console?
Once the car recognises the card, you can drive off and keep the card. No need to leave it there
@@CarLifeSG thanks!
I didn't know about sentry mode. Who knows? Perhaps I've been captured on a Tesla car camera as I walked closer to one to take a closer look....
thanks for the detailed review!
Thank you 🙏
Bagus… Enjoy the review

Any review on how often u charge and charging location?
this is such a detailed review, thanks for sharing! just curious, do u know which telco partners with Tesla for the sim card? i would imagine them changing to Starlink in the future
Thank you 😊 no idea because Tesla mentioned the card comes with the car and it’s free for now
Very comprehensive video!
The car will detect amber lights too?
thanks! i could be wrong but i don't remember seeing amber lights on the screen
wow! I own Tesla shares but not a Tesla car for now... haha where do you usually go to charge your car? how often?
so if we do not have our phone, the card needs to remain at the transponder spot at all times while driving? won't it slide off ahahahah
Oh once you start driving you can keep the card already 😅
@@CarLifeSG I see, very comprehensive review bro solid work
Do you foresee this car selling better than the cheaper EVs in SG despite the price?
I believe so.. the branding is strong, it's also cheaper than the popular C-Class/3 Series etc. and the car sells itself. drive one and you'll understand why people buy it
I wonder if in future I am outstation for a week and leave the EV car in the carpark, how much battery % it would lost ....
Great review!
Do you get mileage anxiety when the car is running low on battery (While on errand or rushing for places) but you are not near the only 2 Tesla supercharger?
Hi, no not really because sg is small so I’m never too far away from a charger
autopilot pov pls
Does the car do a SIUUUUUUUUUU sound like CR7 while accelerating?
Does the singapore version of Tesla have autopilot mode?🤔
Can share how many times your go for supercharger per months based on normal usage?
So buying a Tesla and staying in HBD. Is it practical ?
Could u talk a little more on the foot pedal? I was told there is only one pedal?
Hi, there’s 2 pedals - and they work exactly like the pedals in a regular car. Left for braking and right to accelerate
A45 AMG pls
How about spare tires ?Good video btw!
Thank you ! No spare tire. Tbh for such a small country like sg I’ll just call a tow truck if I get a flat tire

If ALL electronics fails in the car, you can still drive it, confirmed by Elon Musk.

I believed the review until you said glass roof does not at all transmit heat
Airplane windows?
U bought this car?
Hi. I got some questions. Are there any way to secure a child car seat at the back? Secondly, is the car summon function available?
hi yes i believe you can put a child seat. car summon function was not enabled in this media car, i'm not sure if its available on owner cars
What do you think about Tesla interior compared to brands like mercedes and bmw?
merc/bmw/audi has a nicer interior but there's nothing much going on in the tesla to compare it to (no meter display, physical buttons etc.)
Have experience with most european cars interior seats as a car dealer, i prefer tesla's the best, comfy is the feeling and can sit on it for long without feeling awkward or any feeling of aches.
bro is this the china or us made?
How accurate is the gps underground like MCE?
It worked alright for me
Do u miss having a speedometer?
LOL there is a speedometer in the main screen
Can you turn on FM radio in the car?
Yes of coz
Bro, do u need to pay for data usage on this car?
It’s built in by Tesla and it’s free for now
How would you compare this against the newer EVs out there?
haven't really tried the others, but the Tesla sells itself. it's just that good !
