- whats up everyone! today’s video is a bit different because i will be discussing 6 characters briefly in 1 video to help you decide which unit is the most suitable for your current account condition! is it going to be a DPS? If you want another dps, probably best to save up for firefly. They recently swapped her E2 and E1, and her E1 now basically makes her be her own pocket Silverwolf, except better.
I’m no hunt enjoyer, but Boothills got my attention. I’m also missing a Physical DPS so it’s perfect.
The rest of my jades is going to Firefly and her LC.
I’m going for his LC first since Super Breaks will change the nature of the game.

I have been saving for boothill, but I might need to pull robin anyway because of the strain put on my ruan mei in pure fiction/MOC for meta dual DPS teams
Im thinking of getting Boothill mainly because he looks fun and its getting real stale constantly using Acheron for every fight, Id use him until Id get Firefly especially for break teams
Also ruan mei rerun could be close, maybe she comes with firefly as she seems so important for her and boothill so I will wait and save

So I barely have any dps on my account. The only one I invested in was Jingliu. I do have some decent supports, I got loucha from the previous banner, I have bronya, an e6 pela and some others. So I desperately need dps and even though topaz could be really interesting I am going with boothil as a good physical damage dealer will help me get some more wins in Forgotten hall and help me grind more for future characters
Man, I was all set to try for Topaz (I have raised Dr Ration, Jing Yuan, Blade, Xueyi, Herta and Adventurine, so my FUA roster is stacked). However, Firefly might provide better fire dmg coverage 🤔 And I'm loving the early info about Jade! She would be an ideal complement to mon quantum as well as lower output dps hitters (she would go nuts with Herta). I've gone without Topaz so far, so might be worth holding off and aeeing how the other two pan out kit-wise.
Thx for the video ❤ i will go to pull Firefly but i hesitate to take Fu Xuan's LC 🤔. I use Gepard's LC on S4 for her, but can up her with this...but want firefly 😅 (mega pull archeron, don't pull Aventurine, have 77 tickets today) ... and dam if the rerun of ruan mei is on 2.3 (i have stopped the game on 1.4 and retry on this 2.1 so don't have her)
Then u should probably skip the whole 2.2 and save for firefly & RM (who knows she might rerun later) since both of these characters really have a good synergy

Im going for boothill because I need a DPS for the new hunt mode, and i already have sparkel and ruan mei, so i dont need any more harmony, and my other teams are an acheron team who wants nihility. And an argenti team who used different support compard to boothill, so robin won't be of any use on my account, in comparison to boothill and fu xuan.
Also, after getting boothill, I won't be in need of any other dps.
Unrelated but can someone answer me this
Harmony MC does Super Break dmg based on toughness dmg the attack will deal plus break effect.
Does that mean Misha will be dealing high dmg with his ult if he is built for BE for some reason?
Someone told me that the dmg calculation doesn't take into consideration the element multiplier so that means his low multiplier wouldn't matter?
I was going to save for Fu Xuan, but I ultimately decided I like Aventurine better for funny shields with MoV and lore.
I’d love robin for the dmg boost but i need more dps so topaz it is if i end up with a 5 star in the patch
Should I pull for firefly or ruan Mei I am at 55 pity guaranteed I also have 78 warps but the only dps I have is Seele and Acheron and both of them don’t need ruan Mei so who should I pull for?
Have all the supports and the rerun chars, so easy skip on Robin. Boothill maybe, but definitely getting FF and then maybe Jade, after we see the next banners for 2.4
I should wait for huohuo since i have aventurine with acheron...but i really like fu xuan and my qingque and lunae can both benefit. Such difficult choice.
Go for what you like more, it'll prolly keep you playing longer
I'm a bit torn between buffing my FUA team with Robin or going for Boothill, but I think I'm choosing Boothill this time. He's just too cool and I want him despite already having a Physical DPS in Argenti.
People asking if they should pull FuXuan even though they have aventurine, if you have the means then yes. It is always good to have 2 great sustainers for game modes like pure fiction and hall of memories where you need to have two strong teams.

Agree, and its best to at least invest in 1 shielder unit (gepard/aven) because we dont know in the future what kind of enemies they will create. probably they will one shot u unless u have shield?
I have both and it is awesome to have both teams covered! Plus they assist different teams. Fu Xuan is for sprint fights and Adventurine is for your marathon fights 💪🏻
going for topaz and fu xuan cuz i alr have e6 s5 sparkle (dont ask why) so i dont needrobin
I have all Harmony chars 4*/5* well built but only Luocha for sustain. So, I'll pull Robin + Sig LC and FuXuan but if I lose 50/50 on Robin, I will save and only go for FuXuan
i will summon for jade and fu xuan for a quantum then summon for firefly if I'm have enough for her
should I pull for Fu Xuan if I have Aventurine? Or should I save for Huo Huo rerun? Also Robin or Ruan Mei? I want to pull for Sam as well and maybe Jade if she’s on Black Swan’s level, or else gonna wait for the tarot lady to come back.

Jade sounds like a Topaz support. Anyone who plays her knows Numby hits 8 times and keeps on taking turns. Too bad I won’t pull her since I gotta get Sparkle for the Quantum team.

my two main teams (unbuilt, took a lot of breaks) are: seele, silver wolf, sparkle, lynx and dr. ratio, topaz, ruan mei, huo huo
units im considering pulling and why: adventurein to replace huohuo, fu xuan to replace lynx, or robin to replace ruan mei. i also lack any limited multi-target units (like literally, i don’t have one) so i was considering picking up a unit from 2.3

I think I'm okay skipping Fu Xuan since I got Aventurine, don't think 2 preservation characters are needed, I'll probably wait for HuoHuo to have 1 healer and 1 preservation.
Probably skipping Robin too since her main FUA team is way too expensive, same reason for Topaz as she needs E1S1 for Ratio.
Jade is probably only good for Full Fiction
That leaves Boothill and Sam, both are cool. Cowboy looks easy to build and f2p friendly but he's Hunt and it's annoying when you have to fight multiple mobs and remember he only implants phys weakness with his Ult, if the enemy is not weak to physical his damage is garbage, so large group of mobs will be extremely annoying to fight imo.
Now Fierfly looks amazing and her E1 makes her implant Fire weakness with her skill, that's huge. I don't know about her LC but if she's like Blade, her LC will be way better than the f2p options.
So I'll probably have to skip everything for Firefly e1s1. Hopefully I get her early and have leftover tickets for Ruan Mei and HuoHuo on their rerun, if I fail I'll have to pray Hoyo releases a new 5* sustain in a few more patches lol.
2:54 for me its the other way around i have all but ruan mei since she was thare in my 40 days break form the game
See, I am going for Firefly because I just want her. Robin and Jade would be better, though, because my best built characters are pretty much all my follow-up units, and between that and DoT being my favorite archetype's in the game..... yeah..... RIP my account.... q~q
Hopefully Jiaoqiu won't be out IMMEDIATELY after all that. I can already feel a possible regrettable decision going on.
My harmony roster is pretty bad, so Robin will be a must-pull for me.
I have decent builds on my ruan mei, sparkle and tingyun, close to getting the 5star selector so I can get bronya, should I still pull for robin or skip her taking all this into account?

Guys; I need help... I enjoy Clara's playstyle, but he follow up is quite inconsistent (I have e6 March and Lynx) but I don't know if they'll improve her syngery with Robin, so I'm thinking of Topaz for Clara (e1) or Ratio (most likely Clara) so should I pull Robin or Topaz?
Also I'm most likely gonna go with Lynx for Clara due to aggro manipulations, since preservation characters have higher aggro value than destruction, with abundance having the lowest.
Or should I just skip 2.2 entirely and go for 2.3? I might not get firefly because... dps will always be dps, so maybe Jade? But even then I'm not all that interested (unless leaks come out)
Not many people talk about Clara's synergy with Robin, so I'm thinking that Clara's synergy isnt that great with Robin compared to the IPC teams

I just pulled jingliu and won my 50/50, now i just gotta win my 50/50 on boothill too...ive got 80 pulls...
i want fu xuan but it pains me to say but i have to skip her (rip, see you in 1-2 years in your 2nd rerun...) but i need huohuo for my dot team. however i also need ruan mei. i want FIREFLY as well! i have 170 pulls, what should i do? skip firefly? 😭😭 keep in mind i have ZERO limited sustains and im also guaranteed
If u don't have gepard then u should go for fu xuan. It's good to have 2 strong sustainers (one healer and one shielder) for endgame contents. For Firefly, to me, I would wait until how people assess her performance and especially team comp when she comes to the banner. She's likely gonna be strong (at least at the same tier as Dr. Ratio) but not much valuable for u. In your case, you don't have Ruan Mei or any limited sustainers, which means it may cost u A LOT to build Firefly and make a use of her.

I still can't decide between Boothill and Topaz, I have Aventurine and Ratio, so she would boost them up a bit (tho I did hear, that just E0S0 Topaz is underwhelming), and I do have plenty of DPS, but Boothill just seems so freaking cool, and might also be a character, with which I'll be prepared for the new Hunt Pure Fiction
If ur a meta slave, then Topaz needs to be E1S1 to be considered good. But at that point, i bet E0 firefly will powercreep topaz coz gacha game logic. The game needed an actual fire dps for so long and we’re getting it. Hoyo are basically saying “you have to pass this temptation test”

@@ghotyolocanisyn2880 I doubt Firefly will "powercreep" Topaz simply because the two of them fulfill two very different niches. Firefly is a break dps, Topaz is FUA enabler. Of course Firefly will do more dmg, that's her whole identity. Topaz however never was and never will be a fire main carry. Her value isn't that relient on her dmg (having it is very nice tho) it's in the buffs she gives to FUA units and the incredible synergy she can offer with some of them. People talk about her 'being underwhelming' at e0s0 because she can't be the sole debuff provider for Ratio without those. If (or when) a FUA dps without his debuff restrictions come out she'd be their bis secondary unit most likely. The feedback loop synergy she has with Aventurine for example is amazing, it's be very interesting to get a dps that feeds into that as well.
@@irinapanova7577yep that's like saying topaz power crept himeko they have and always had different goals. Complete opposites one has aoe the other has single targets.
Topaz cant be power crept in a way similar to kafka. If another character could buff up follow damage by a higher percentage. Why not use them both. Then a ratio aventurine topaz team would hit even higher whilst all boosting up numby
E0S0 Topaz isn’t as underwhelming as she was. This is due to Aventurine having a debuff on his Ult and you can just use his signature LC or Universal Market LC for another debuff. E1S1 Topaz is really good though and you will notice a difference.
I love follow up attack teams and have aventurine but I don’t know if I should get wobin or topaz and I don’t know who would be more valuable to follow ups please help 🙏
Topaz is OK at best E0S0 she really needs her E1S1 to really pop off in FuA teams but shes looking stronger then ever rn because all the new FuA and even upcoming jade are all incredibly synergistic with her making her better so shes more of a sub-dps support/enabler for other characters you only get her to support other FuA units so unless you’re going for atleast S1 I’d skip for robin she gets energy for every attack a teammate does which is amazing for FuA units who pump out attacks constantly and with her 160 energy ult and 70% of her buffs being tied to her ult she is really gonna need as much energy as possible
Tl;Dr: Robin if you aren’t going for topaz E1S1 or atleast E0S1 minimum

@@zerovking7629 How so. I can always wait for a rerun if Mei turns out to be an essential support for Firefly. Making Firefly better would be the only reason for me to ever pull for her anyway, because I do not like Ruan Mei's character design at all and I am not a meta slave
@@FirriApril If firefly works like boothill ruan mei will be pretty much all her best teams and even if she works differently ruan mei will still be in all her best teams shes gonna be that good for break teams
@@zerovking7629 Being a part of the theoretical best team doesn't make her essential though. I can already clear moc 12 without her and if I can do the same with Firefly (which I very much doubt she has any trouble doing) there is really no need for Ruan Mei is there
but if I am wrong and Hoyo somehow make Firefly that debendant on a break support then I can always think about going for Ruan Mei's rerun or wait for a potentian new support who might powercreep her. It's no reason to skip Robin though who I just like as a character

As some one who has all 3 i can tell u this. None of them can come close to fuxuan and gepard sucks. Dont waste ur resources on him
@@7heUprising Gepard does struggle, but Aventurine and FX are absolutely on par. Each of them performs better in their preferred team and content, of course, but FX is no longer uncontested and that's just a fact

Boothill cause no physical DPS and the new endgame coming out thats single target focused also break meta fun and sam cause no fire dps and sam is cool af also break dps so I can really invest into break units and make it apart of my account

At this point im gonna requit.😂 You need all these characters to get what's missing in your team and pass through content. At the same same, I just wanna play with the characters I like
2.2 is very easily skippable imo robin is only much better then other supports in 0-1 cycle clears which only a very small majority of people can do or want to do in drawn out battles (3-4+ cycles) shes just another ruan mei being only a slight upgrade in certain situations and team comps but shes still very crazy having another harmony on ruan meis level is insane but def not needed especially if you have alot of supports already
Topaz, skippable unless heavy FuA account or going for E1S1, fu xuan is amazing but if you already have 2 limited sustainers or have a well invested 4* sustainer shes not needed, and boothill is really strong but DPS get powercrept the fastest and easiest so its okay to skip the majority of the time although I can see him and firefly having a lot more longevity like acheron due to their heavy emphasis on break

If you have ur ratio built I would go for robin just use pela as a replacement for topaz and you got yourself a good follow up team

Aventurine has fu xuan levels of sustainability while also being good the the gamemodes shes not good in (GnG, swarm, PF) for PF fu xuan can work but aven is just much much better for that mode
Don’t let people sway your opinion by saying aven is only good in FuA teams hes cracked in any team so imo aven is more valuable then fu xuan if you can only choose one or the other

@@zerovking7629fu xuan is very good in gold & gears and swarm disaster. As someone who has them both, they’re pretty much on par. Aventurine is better for FuA teams but aside from that they’re interchangeable.

Shes a sidegrade at best compared to bronya/sparkle to jingliu since jingliu wants a lot of turns to get into her state faster and robin is more fit in dual dps and FuA teams since outside those teams she’ll need S5 Cogs and an ER rope to upkeep her high energy cost since 70% of her buffs are tied to her ult
So imo robin is not gonna be crazy good for hypercarry team comps or units she’ll still be good but still a sidegrade

Robin's ERR is a non-issue. She gets so much of it back during her ult and then she immediately takes her turn again once the ult is over. I think once or twice her skill after her ult wasnt quite enough to get her ult back.

Its so hard for me to make a decision, i wanted fu xuan from when i started the game 2 months ago but i got aventurine this patch and i want boothill and firefly, so idk who to summon for bcs i will not have jades for all of them :((

imho look at what content you struggle with the most rn, what's already on your account and what you are lacking and pick accordingly. There will always be reruns, you can pull for whoever you skipped next time they come around if you still want them.

I would say robin is much more of a priority than ppl think, just look at Ruan mei, if you only look at her kit you would think she's just a break buffer but she's actually an universally good unit, I think it's the same case for robin, her kit screams follow up attack but she's gonna be able to shine with other team comps aswell, even if you have Ruan mei already, I would say the only bad thing about her is not being able to run her on 2 teams lol, so having a similar character like robin could solve that, and also most of the best comps rn rely on the whole team contributing to the overall damage not just one unit dealing 100% of it, so having another AOE buffer besides Ruan mei could be a good thing for the future
