Tubbs looks like a man in heaven, just totally enjoying watching cricket. He's fully engaged in the game, living it, breathing it, out there in the field, but also fully engaged with Mark Howard's questions about his time as Australian men's cricket captain.
I reckon Tubbs would watch cricket every day of the year. I'd happily sit next to him at a game, talking about the game, sinking some pints.

The best captain I have seen. Great cricketing brain, very good decision making when it came to strategy and tactics. Great tactician. Good opening batsman who opened in an era where the bowlers was much more strong collectively in terms of depth. Its a weaker era now.

Mark Taylor was going through a horrible run of form in 1996/97. It wasn’t until he made a great century in the 2nd innings of the first test of the 1997 Ashes series in England. It was said that he would have been dropped, but for the great form of the team and his captaincy.

Does Michael Clarke still do any commentary for any of the radio stations, TV channels? Always thought he was a good commentator on channel 9.

Compared to Taylor and Chappell, I find the current crop of commentators on channel 7 to be terrible. Brayshaw, Langer, Hayden, Finch, Copeland and Mel McLaughlin are 3rd rate, IMO.
