The spectacular adventures near the fabulous railway station - • The spectacular advent...
1:49 Howard: "Done?"
Sheldon: "I believe the word you're looking for is bravo."
Lol
1:26 "Wait, there's still four more verses."
What should have happened: "As you start singing the remaining verses the walls start to close in on you again."
😜
It's funny hear how they try to say "Svatý Václav" :D
Edwwi Koala
Pro ně je to “Saint Wenceslas”
try saying that 5 times fast
@@Neo2266. a proto se to snažili vyslovit česky :D
I'm just glad that FINALLY Sheldon's singing voice has been acknowledged!
he has a really great voice
Sheldon can really sing
he does have perfect pitch
Jim can sing
Jim did theatre so yeah he can 😁
Bohemia is the Czech republic, omg I live in the Czech republic, amazing :o:D I really love this scene! ♥
Ta Sheldonova (a Leonardova) výslovnost toho jména je velmi zábavná :-D
Je zajímavý, že ví o sv. Václavovi
Ahoj češi 😊
@@Kubinda12345 Jo, Vaklaf zní hrozně :-)
Czech Republic is Bohemia
Howard's face is priceless
A mention about Bohemia in TBBT? Goood, czech republic ruleeez! :D
He could spell it right if anything else...

@@michalm2279 Ale čo toto brat? Nebud taký somár závistivý
❤️❤️❤️
better czech yourself before you wreck yourself
Good King Wenceslas looked out
On the feast of Stephen,
When the snow lay round about,
Deep and crisp and even.
Brightly shown the moon that night,
Though the frost was cruel,
When a poor man came in sight,
Gathering winter fuel.
Hither, page, and stand by me.
If thou know it telling:
Yonder peasant, who is he?
Where and what his dwelling? xD
It's longer than that.
Sire he lives a good league hence, underneath the mountain.
Right against the forest fence, by saint agnes fountain.
CP CP bring me flesh and bring me wine, bring me pine logs hither
Thou and I shall see him dine, when we bear them thither.
Page and monarch forth they went
Forth they went together
Through the rude wind's wild lament
And the bitter weather
0:22 Stewart: "Oh boy, happy place, happy place." 😆😆😆
Ok, so I made a spelling error. Sue me.
Im really glad my country was mentioned in the big bang theory, but I gotta say their pronounciation of "Svatý Václav" was just hillarious
Jim is the best, know sing very well, and is a perfect actor
Howard: never heard of it, must be the one Christmas song not written by a Jewish
That cracked me up so hard!!!
0:36
Well Jim Parsons is an amazing singer, so they may be clapping at him.
The second verse was partly wrong it should be
“Hither, page, and stand by me, if thou know'st it, telling,
Yonder peasant, who is he? Where and what his dwelling?”
“Sire, he lives a good league hence, underneath the mountain,
Right against the forest fence, by Saint Agnes’ fountain.”
0:43 *Bravo Sheldon!!!*
My favorite Christmas carol!
mine too!
I miss listening to these classic Christmas carols: "Good King Wenceslas," "O Tannenbaum," "We Three Kings," "I Saw Three Ships," and "Here We Come A Wassailing." You just don't hear them as much anymore.
Too many of people turning from our Christian heritage is the reason.

Even though I’m a good singer, I would never be able to sing this. It’s so fast, and Idk all the words, so the fact that not only can Sheldon sing, but knows this entire song and can sing THAT fast is AMAZING.
Best line in this episode: "Ho, ho, ho you big dork!"
Czech christmas song in BBT thats so awesome :D
it is British christmas song about Czech seint patron
And on pitch like me! Awesome singing Shelly!
Oh boy, happy place, happy place
xDDDD
Love these guys and THIS SONG
Как она называется?
00:44 He's singing beautiful! BRAVO Sheldon
I love Sheldon so much
Since Friday when I saw the episode I'm addicted to this song! :)
Which episode was it
It's czech song!!!! Super!!! In original is Dobrý král Václav :D
Actually it's English carol.
The text was written by Václav Alois Svoboda in 1847. The man who translated this carol into english was John Mason Neale, so actually its Czech carol, tell me why the hell would have english people carol about czech patron? Cult of saint Wenceslaus never existed in England.
actually it did- Anne of Bohemia was a queen of england, the cult was very popular for many decades. The actual carol was written by an englishman using a bohemian text.
Martyn Notman
Never heard of him here in England.
Dovolím si Sheldonovsky opravit:
Svatý Václav král nebyl😇 jen kníže
Let me fix it like Sheldon:
Saint Václav never was a king 😇 just lord
I love Howard's face at 1:02 and Stewarts face at 1:03
Ha, ha. This made my day. :D
Naw, The pronunciation of Svatý Václav is more like "Sva-tee Va:tzlav" not Va:klav :-) But it was sweet to hear something about Bohemia in such a super popular tv series :-)
Aaah, he screwed up! Last line should be "Sire, here lives a good league hence, underneath a mountain..."
+SnoSixtyTwo No, there's another verse about Good King Wenceslas and the page going out and being blessed for being good or whatever. "Therefore, Christian men be sure, Wealth or rank possessing, Ye who now will bless the poor Shall yourselves find blessing."
+beetles1964 no, he stalking about how he said "hither page and stand by me, if thou knowst is telling, yonder peasant who is he? Where and what his dwelling?" He should have said "sire he lives a good league hence underneath a mountain" but instead said "brightly shone the moon that night" again
Ohhhh, I see what you're talking about. Right, right.
+MrStarman926 What great exchange!!! No cursing or name calling.....kudos 👏👏👏👏👏
+gamal mitchell thanks, but isn't it a little early to be listening to Christmas songs?
This song is very well known, is not an uncommon Christmas carol
What’s the name of the actual original song?
He said Victorian lmao
I love how at 0:48 and 1:02 Howard's like "o...k... Sheldon can sing..."
I sang that song with my choir class in highschool, I don't remember there being five verses. Oh well. 😁
Как она называется?
When I first watched this, I recognized the lyrics was a bit inaccurate. From 1:36 onwards I think it is: "Where and what his dwelling? Sire, he lives a good league hence, underneath the mountain; Right against the forest fence, by Saint Agnes' fountain." And you can recognize that he repeats from the first verse in "Brightly shone the moon that night,
tho' the frost was cruel" even though he already started the second verse and was half-way thorough it. However, the ending is accurate "Ye who now will bless the poor,
shall yourselves find blessing."
Well the pronunciation of svatý Václav is really hilarious.
That badabam at the end killed me!!
He was actually a duke born in 907 ad he also beated his peasants and never
trudged through the snow nor collected wood he spread Christianity and was murdered by his brother brought to you by me (I learned this from horrible histories)
haha, Merry Christmas everyone!
Wow... If you give him the right song he can sing really well
OK I am calling BS on Lenard, I get that everyone there (except for Stewart) is a Genius but requiring a D&D player to know a Czech Christmas song and be able to sing it in ten seconds or less to avoid your entire party from being crushed to death is just Bullshit.
This scene was the first time I ever heard the actual song
Woo hoo! Go sheldon
Svaty Vaklaf :D Its funny how they trying to say Svatý Václav :D
my favourite carol 😊
I wish Stuart was a regular character. ❤
Summary of mistakes.
1:35 words from first verse sung after words from 2nd verse.
1:40 words from last line of song sung to notes from first line.
0:23 Sheldon mispronounces the Czech name (so do Leonard and Howard). From earlier comment by Etheline: "Sva-tee Va:tzlav"
Pronunciation of Václav → Vaatslav
my favorite christmas carol!
Jim Parsons is really a good singer.
Bad-a-Bum!!
Even the nerdiest of Dungeon Master's have some pride...actually its probably proportional ha ha.
Overall almost good except for the mistake at 1:38. He repeats the latter part of the first verse again....
"Brightly shone the moon that night
Though the frost was cruel"....
He was doing that to annoy Leonard
Honestly that was cute from Sheldon
Any misquotes on the song's lyrics can quickly be summed up as his grandparents taught it to him with those lyrics and those are the only ones hr knew going up in Texas as a kid.
WIKI: "Season 6, Episode 11: "The Santa Simulation" (December 13, 2012)"
He was king and almost holy roman emperor. Not a duke, but its okay
thanks to you I managed to find the song title way easier ("Good King Wenceslas" for thos who wonder^^ )
Damn, I never realised he coud sing!!
aw mee maw and paw paw I want to hug Sheldon now
#HIMYM barney did a short part too, i love it!!
Omg I am from Czech republic🇨🇿 and Václav IV. is from Czech republic!!
The last verse of the second stanza is wrong though.
He's not that bad for a guy like him!!!
Could we have a full Good King Wenceslas by Sheldon?
Isn't it meant to be "Sire he lived a good league hence, underneath the Mountain, right against the forest fence, by St. Agnes Fountain." ?
He says "Legos" funny. I usually pronounce it "Lay-gos"
uhhhhh im sorry to say but he doesn't say it funny.
***** Well, you could be right, my parents had accents, so when I was growing up, certain words might have been different for me. But anyhow, funny is a subjective thing, it sounds funny to me, I think I'm in my own rights to say that it sounds funny to me. Peace.
Love the scenes with something Czech :D
It's so funny !!!
Well done Sheldon
sheldon has never been funnier
Czech name Václav is better pronounced as "What's love" than "Fucklove".
0:44
I'm here teaching my wife about Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
Bravo !
Good King Wenceslas
Should have used a cue card. The first verse does go "Brightly shone the moon", but the second is "Sire, he lives a good league hence . . ." Not that it makes me as brilliant as Sheldon.
Bravo! :)
Badabam 😂
Howard... 😁😂
I'm from Czech Republic.
Many Czechs don't bother either.
Watch Sheldon Cooper mining song...
Hello, does anyone know which season and what episode that is? Thanks!
It's season 6 episode 9 or 10
The one Christmas song not written by a Jewish guy 😂😂😂😂
lol why didnt they say the walls suddenly started to move so sheldon would stop singing? xD
Sheldon is mispronounced the name Václav is pronounce as "vahts-lahf".
Exactly
He sang it way to fast.
if walls were closing in on you, leading to your doom, would you really sing the song at its original pace?
That's a good point.
LOL!!!
That’s Yankee Doodle, it’s not a Christmas song! 🧐
The fact that he messed up the words bothers me more than it should
.......... wunterslaush?
*southpark?
But that was a bit cruel of leonard. I mean, who knows he answer to that....
it's pop pop
My dad used to always call that song "Good King What's-his-schnoz"
