    Holy hell those adam audios are incredibly crisp and clear 😮

    Adam: boosted treble, thin vocals
    Iloud: almost realistic, how is that making so much bass, definately it has some port boom...but impressive

    • @Pharesm
      @Pharesm 4 роки тому

      Agreed. to avoid the port boom, you'd have to buy Genelec 8010 or 8020. They're a bit more, but not that much.

    i've got both and recenlty got the iLaud for my camper van.... so cool and powerfull ... of course you will feel the sound coming from small size speakers, more narow sound but you can put them in every place... i didnt want to change my stereo car than i ivested in these iloud :)

  • @cuerex8580

    nice. i owned both and i can tell that this recording is really true to nature. the t5v have forced highs though. really needs consideration to opt for this kind of sound. using jbl 305p and keeping them cuz the unbeatable waveguide and flatter than flat eq, nothing sounds forced or underpronounced. the ilouds sound dull in comparison but conside to take the source track as the reference point folks. the highs of the ilouds are among the sweetest that are available for this pricepoint imo.

    • @extremumone
      @extremumone 5 років тому +2

      iLouds are just 95% close to source, its like outrageous.

    • @anybody4802
      @anybody4802 4 роки тому +2

      iloud probably sounds dull because source track has that muddiness, it's revealing what needs to be fixed

      @@extremumone well if you heard speakers that increase the resolution,be it for studio or home purpose, the ilouds are more like 65%

      Hey guys, I'm planing to buy iloud micros for Tv for media consumption, not for mixing etc... I'm looking for a small speaker can go low without a sub. My room is 10-15m^2 and I'm not looking for high volume. Do you think it is a good buy or I sould look for something else? btw I have pair of focal evo 50 but I don't enough space to put them.

  • @ronmac3397
    @ronmac3397 2 роки тому +3

    to be honest..i own a pair of ilouds..the bass it produces for its size is amazing..but it lacks everthing else in terms of a studio monitor..it sounds like a normal speaker..

  • @damienlobb85
    @damienlobb85 3 роки тому +3

    I'm impressed with what the iLouds can do for their size. But I'm not a big fan about the mid high bump around 1khz

  • @zpurpz
    @zpurpz 5 років тому +8

    Highs are more dynamic on the iloud but mids seem to be muffled.
    Adam has VERY bright highs... already too much. But mids are nice.
    Adam's mid and high are crossing over harshly .
    So iloud wins because of dynamics

    Thx ! for this one was waiting for this one :-) As am a now proud owner of the Adams T5V's. My first choice was the I Louds because of the size. Adams are bright but clear.
    I think the I louds sound a bit hollow. Not sure how to call it.

    T5Vs are more transparent ,detailed and colored,iLouds are neutral and sounds closer to source track;vocals and cymbals in T5Vs are crystal clear,T5Vs are more like hifi gears.

    • @brainache555
      @brainache555 3 роки тому +8

      how can the sound be transparent and colored at the same time? 🧐

  • @oleadsr8186
    @oleadsr8186 4 роки тому +2

    Iloud sounds cheaper but seems close to original.
    Adam makes track brighter than it is and its a problem although overall clearness is better on Adam and Adam sounds mature.
    For monitors i would choose Iloud, for Multimedia - Adam.

    Interesting video. I own the iLoud Micro but also purchased the ADAM TS10 subwoofer as I found the bass waaaaay too distorted on the iLoud for any bass heavy songs.
    I was going to return the iLoud to get the T5V but now I may stick with the combo I have. Thanks for the upload!

    iLoud impressive bass for its size & price tag, but too muddy in the first demo. More enjoyable in the long run. The more polished hifi sound of Adam is fatiguing after a while.

  • @WavesOfAwesome
    @WavesOfAwesome 2 роки тому +1

    The iLouds sound a lot more boxy to me in the mids/mid bass, you can really hear the cabinet resonating. Not surprising, tiny cabinets have to give up something. In "Heart Afire" the adam tweter sizzle is pretty over the top though, it's really audible on the female vocals and hihats. I think you could EQ out the high issue on the adam, but doubt EQ could entirely fix the iLouds.

    Wow iloud is so good at that size! Adam's sucks...i own hs8 m lsr308, but for monitor speakers, hs8 is the king for me! But i think iloud is very good sounding at that tiny size 🙄

    That comparison was not flattering to the Adams. It was a perfect example of how brighter is not necessarily better. The Ilouds clearly rendered the source material more faithfully. For mixers, creators, producers, the Ilouds were superior.

      Probably not the best anymore, but John Hooper is right about x230. I did own them and still think, as far as cheap computer speakers, those were one of the best logitech ever made at low price. Of course not the best sound and far from most powerfull, but good balance between woofer and satellites even at higher volumes, with good freq balance and easy to listen without spikes at higher frequencies(most modern logitech speakers) and boominess.
