HOW TO BUILD A MUSIC TEACHING BUSINESS / HOW TO BUILD A GUITAR SCHOOL / DRUM / SINGING

How do you build a guitar teaching business or for that matter a singing or drum teaching business in your area? Whether you want to build a small one to one teaching business or a local music school where do you start?
This is interesting because this is about music and creative content however this is crossing over into a proper business so you need to think of more than just building a brand. You need to be findable for anyone looking for a guitar teacher in your area.
Where do people look for a guitar teacher in your area? Social media? NO! It's Google!
if you want something you go straight to Google! So you need an old school website and then you can advertise via Google Adwords which are the paid adverts at the top and down the side of any google search. This is a bidding war for an advert to show off your website.
So where does social media fit into this? It is the social proofing and the trust you build in your brand.. When someone has heard about you they can check you out and make sure you are real, busy and not creepy or weird. The Social Media is your chance to show off how awesome you are in a more realtime way than a website will.
