    Great preparation for the champ! Looks like Eubank Jr kept Carl on his toes and helped prepare him well for his destruction of George Groves last weekend. Carl was gassed pretty quick here though which suggests to me that he just did some sort of high intensity workout before this sparring session. Great job Chris. I wish you all the best for the future

    That was great to see. Excellent skills against a guy with about as much top level experience as you could ever get. I enjoyed it more than Froch Groves 2 to be honest. I can't remember seeing Froch walked down like that so it shows how strong he is mentally and physically. Getting the gloves up well for defence and not falling back so always ready to strike too. All the best in the future, I've seen all the fights so far and won't be missing a single one.

      As someone who has actually done sparring sessions they're more like tactical development sessions. Styles make fights! So you bring in someone to emulate your fight night opponent and work on your game plan. Then you figure out what you want to exploit and specifically spar to work that in. Sparring session are where you practice the parts that you want exploit. You keep the things that work and scrap what doesnt. It's fair to say Froch may have scrap a few things but the result was KO on Fight Night.

    Eubank Jr looks good here, you can see he's started to develop power now he's getting older. Eubank Jr is the perfect type of fighter to get Froch ready for Groves, fast, Athletic and slick but I think Groves punches will be a bit harder than Eubanks.

      yea was a great punch however groves messed up by making the basic error of throwing a right hook after blocking frochs left hook. should have coved for them both, did this in the first fight, groves opens himself up by throwing punches when he should be covering up, still sham because think your right Groves was very much still in the fight.

      Klash716 You don't know me so I can't take it personal what your saying. I'm not a fan of Illuminati puppets. I think Lady Gaga sacrificed a friend of hers and took on her image. It was on UA-cam it must be true. I'm 39, so Madonna would have been more accurate. I have at times been called faggot. I live on rough council estate, and when I moved in I had people call me gay and paedophile. It was a jamican women with a pram. So I overlooked what she said. As I thought she must be mentally ill. Turned out she was abit, they took the kids off her and stuff. Boxing is'nt good for the brain. Ali got Parkinsonian syndrome from it. But maybe it's good in a way to train, and keep away from drugs and hanging round, I watched some documentaries Dark trade, and it's kind of fixed, rankings are paid for etc. Who's your favourite boxer.

  • @ukpersonaltrainer
    @ukpersonaltrainer 10 років тому +1

    Eubank Jr has all the moves, just one thing missing and thats raw power...
    Cant teach that, either you have it or you dont.
    But he is a good prospect and exciting to watch, they should'nt rush him through the ranks too quickly.

    Eubank obviously wanted to feel Carls power here.
    All the critics say he hasn't fought anyone, but he looks to be holding his own and more here with Carl and was duly called back for more sparring. Which other British fighters have been openly sparring Froch? Not Saunders...I think it indicates the level of Eubank at the moment early on in his career...He will be world champion for sure one day.
    To be fair Eubank may be fresh and Froch may have done 6 rounds before this video.

    Great sparring. Froch looking nice and strong but was looking quite slow again. I think Groves will have the same and easy time hitting him like in the first fight. Eubank seems to be showing great potential. He's living up to the hype thus far and i hope he makes it big.

    Anyone that knows anything about boxing knows that Eubank Jr was by far the superior boxer here much cleaner shots...even though it was only sparring

      Aaron David eubank's non show against Groves... shows that sparring is really just that.

    Froch has a hard dig and i tell you, you don't want him hitting you even with head guard on. I think eubank jnr did quite well. He is a smaller guy than froch and he held his own in the spar sessions. Its a very good experience for a novice fighter to spar and get experience from a world ( a genuine) champ!!!

    Froch sounds just like David Haye. When he started talking I was wondering why David would spar a middleweight. lol

    Well all i saw was a strong Froch here,i think sparring is totally different and we know Froch can do this for 12 rounds and without headgear i think Eubank would have been in trouble here.
    I do hope Eubank fulfills his dreams (not his father's !) as the pressure on him and hype is enormous,good luck to the lad!

    Those around camp said Froch actually let Jr get a few digs in when his old man was watching. Carl has banjo'd prospects before and so doesn't take liberties now as he needs the sparring.

      You never give away free shots, either in sparring or a fight, stop talking bollocks.

      Allyboy54 agreed he is talking absolute shite, Jr just looked better im beginning to definitely believe Froch might of overtrained we shall see night of the fight but im gonna stick with my guns I said Groves last time and I say Groves now.

    • @Allyfucksake
      @Allyfucksake 10 років тому

      KingArthur Yeah i've been saying that for weeks he's to lean and not in good way. I believe Froch is very worried about this fight, he looked really nervous at the final presser.

    • @POLChelseaFC
      @POLChelseaFC 10 років тому

      Allyboy54 I didn't notice till late it was him mentioning his heart rate in the face to face that's the only time but saying that he does look very lean...
      Paddy Fitzpatrick said the same dunno if you seen the video of what he said but basically he said he bet with Groves that Froch would get a psychologist and overtrain for the fight.
      Can't wait for the fight though!
      I'll make the bold statement and say Groves is going to KO him and retire him last time I picked Groves for the decision.

    His dad was a under dog when he had his first title fight people saying it was to soon but the rest is history! Eubank jr looks the more explosive fighter to me! Power and speed and if he's got a chin like his old man then he will be world champion!

    Good stuff, just a sparring session, ya can never make judgement on an upcoming fight, who knows, perhaps Froch is holding back knowing Groves team will see this vid, who knows ? Good stuff anyway, liking Eubank Jnr combinations & hand speed

  • @WestHamDan90
    @WestHamDan90 10 років тому

    Eubank was catching him easy there with wide hooks? I'm very surprised at that. Carl looked how he always does to be honest just a few more combo's that didn't really bover Eubank Jr. This is surprising, i genuinely thought he wouldn't be taking wide, hard hooks like that even in sparring.

    Don't be fooled, Eubank Jr would give any super middleweight trouble, even George Groves. Froch vs Groves is still a 50/50 fight.
