The tag showcases the strengths of this group. Drew’s beautiful tenor, Andrew on the bass held note, Tony having a really great baritone, and of course Alex’s piecing power in the Melody line. Insane, just insane
this quartet is the best in the game in my opinion. they are insane and while I'm def a barbershop amature, i cant get enough of the tags they sing and always make the stank face the whole time. its just too good. like hot carmel on a brownie.
Nice chart! You'd think Brent was a bari :-) Drew, sounding really good in the middle, really solid 5ths and some daring unresolved suspensions... the whole quartet is shaping into something really special.
Ok, no jokes, I legitimately hear three octaves of overtones ABOVE the the notes they sang on the final cord. I counted the noticeable ones: C#6, F#6, A#6, C#7, A#7, G#7, A#8 (yes, that high), and a C#8 at the very last half-second of the chord. There are definitely some more there, but those are the ones I heard.
I love me some barbershop and all, but I'm really confused at the comments here praising this performance. It's riddled with intonation and stability issues throughout and it's genuinly been unpleasant to listen to.

Seconding your statement
Absolutely amazing performance. I just discovered this performance style and am truly blown away by these guys. What talent!
Guys, thank you for making this arranger sound so good. Amazing performance!
3:48 The Chord on Last is quite juicy
Tony holding that post and seamlessly switching to the baritone line from 4:21 to 4:30 is so smooth
Young Steve Carrell full voice thirds 😍
It is hard to express how much I love Tony in this quartet
Their sound is aging like a fine wine. Still very risk/reward, but much smoother and more consistent this year. Can't wait to hear them next year!
More incredible each time I watch and listen.
Things are a changin'!
One of the best baritone performances I've seen, and incredible tenor at the end
The tag is perfect for this quartet. The whole song, with its slow parts and quick transitions, was done exceedingly well.
Nice job First Take and Brent Graham!
Great job!
It’s the final modulation for me! Such a powerful moment! ❤
are you kidding me. speechless.
One of my favorites of the whole contest!
First Take killed it at internationals this year, like jeez this set was crazy good!
Wow. And what a chart.
Omg I miss this so much xD
Breathtaking. ❤
Overtone on the root is screaming on that last chord!
I had to pause at several points to process just how GOOD this is. Astounding. Can’t wait to hear them next year, it’s gonna be unreal
(They were awesome at M-AD's District Convention this year!!!)
that was fantastic

when they switched into This Is the Moment i was so excited
Wow, amazing performance. ❤
New to barbershop. Did these guys get first place? It brought tears to my eyes.
No they got second place. Just after 3 1/2 men. Next year maybe

Screaming overtone on the last note!
🤯
Where’s the video of their other song (No one sings higher than me) gone???
They are working on some contract stuff behind the scenes.
Alex Corson everybody
It feels like cheating having Drew and Alex in the same quartet.
It’s an Alex thing …
I've become convinced that Alex will never end a tag in head voice ever again
@@evanbell Do we want him to?
I'd love to describe how amazing the last 60 seconds of this really is, but I'd have to use cuss words! WOW.
I think my face is now stuck in 'stank face' mode following the final key change
I'm just gonna leave it here 0:41
Overtones aren’t real, they can't hurt y-
