interesting comment on the iridium plugs. That's what I just installed and it runs like new. Before buying mine, I noticed how people who drive spiritedly and track their cars also use iridium plugs for their performance & consistency and love them.
edit : just thought of something; NGK is among the most counterfeited spark plugs on the market. It could be you bought fake iridium plugs to have had a bad experience.
