  • If you're thinking of starting a Lego UA-cam channel or just want to understand the "inside view" a bit more, this is the video for you! It's been a year since I uploaded my first video, and since then I've learned a lot. It's been a great experience that I'm very thankful for, and just as a way of looking back, I wanted to reflect on some of the lessons I've learned. Hopefully that can be helpful to you as well!
If you want to support me on my UA-cam journey in this coming year, consider subscribing and liking this video!

Great video, I'm coming up on 1 year on YT in May and I agree with a ton of these tips. For anyone watching this video i'd say number 3 (make videos that you would watch) is the most important thing to keep in mind. I only started making videos about lego castle because i noticed a lack of them on the platform and said to my self "you know what let me just make them myself". Make videos that you would watch no matter how niche or cringe you may think they sound, somebody will enjoy them.
Also don't spend money on a bunch of expensive gear! I use an old blue snowball microphone that i've had since 2016 and film all my videos on my phone. The barrier to making videos is lower than you'd think. If you have a good idea and are able to execute that idea with a reasonable amount of passion and effort the results will come.
I was jumpscared by my channel coming up by the way lol! Thanks for the kind words :)

Thanks! Your channel is great and I've had a great time watching your stuff.
You should definitely make a video reflecting on your experience in May, I think it would be really interesting.
