😁hey there .. did you figure out the name of that lake first time ? It took me a couple of weeks before I decided to go online to find out it's Lake Verret. But I heard Murret, Burret etc🤣.
@Rhythm911 I worked on a dredge in the 90's and worked with a fella from Morgan City I went with him on our rotations sometimes and his family had a camp on the lake we would stay there and fish and relax

Man this brings back so many memories on the Mississippi River, when I was young, and later raising our kids to love the water,im 61 now but still have the same old flatbottom my kids grew up on.and still love to unwind on the water... keep up the great videos. I never miss one of yours or Kieth and Tara's videos. Although I don't always comment, y'all always get a thumbs up from me. I had some very close friends that I used to go visit a month at a time in Louisiana but, unfortunately they have all passed away now and at 80 years old, I don't see me ever making that trip again. As much as my friends, I miss that wonderful Cajun cooking. I still eat a lot of catfish but I have to catch them in the Kroger Store using greenbacks for bait!

That was a limpkin they came in from Florida. We have a invasive apple snail in the local waters and the birds basically followed them down here as it’s one of there main food sources 👍✌️🛥🎣
