@OurLadyPeaceofficial is joined by co-founder of the band and previous guitarist Mike Turner to play the song "All My Friends" from their album Spiritual Machines (2000). This is the first time Mike has been on stage with the band in over 20 years! It was a huge treat to see both Steve and Mike on stage playing guitar together at the first show on The Wonderful Future Tour! Cheers to the band for putting on an excellent show! The show was at Royal Theatre in Victoria BC on June 6th 2022.

I haven't listened to OLP since he left the band 20 years ago. Bring Mike Turner back permanently PLEASE!!!
It was a completely different band once he left.
I’m on the same boat. After Mike left, they lost their unique sound he brought. Along with Raine changing his vocal style. Naveed to Spiritual Machines are the only OLP listens for me. I get it though, bands change sounds. But Mike could have evolved too with his own unique sound.
@@johngore3364 So true, he had a very unique guitar sound. He was like the Edge, but more aggressive and with a more modern rock sensibility. One of the most criminally underrated guitar players ever.
Saw their show in Toronto this year and when Mike came out it was sooo F ING awesome. Love this band for as long as I can remember

It's a really hard song to sing to be fair.. They played it again in Cleveland last night. I respect the attempt. It's my favorite song by them and I honestly was shocked they would even make the attempt.

Agreed! He did at later shows but this one was the first of the tour and I don't think they had it totally worked out yet.
Now it just needs the falsetto back
Even the guitarist can't hit the notes right trying to fill in the gaps for Raine... oof.
It's like Raine has no interest in singing anymore.
I honestly do not think that's it. He's holding back. He just got over his second bout of COVID and it's taken a toll. In a recent interview he mentioned briefly the after effects. Plus, you have to remember that the dude has to sing for 2 hours almost every night on tour. That alone takes a toll.
@@JeremyKingTech i saw them in 2017 and he was very flat most of the night. Refused to try any high notes. I haven't seen a single video of him singing enthusiastically in years.
I think he's had difficulty in the high range for years now. I'm not surprised by that. Most guys can't hit those notes let alone do it constantly for many years on tour and across numerous records. That said, he was full of energy as we got on into the night at the first show of the new tour a couple weeks ago. Once you accept that it's not the 90s and things have changed (even new band members etc) it's a damn good time.
@@NateOvTrinity I'd take this over backing tracks like other bands. I think he sounds great. Eve 6 changed their vocal style too and they still rock as well. People get older and so do their vocal chords.
