KIELBASA POTATO SOUP
INGREDIENTS
4 tbsp butter
5 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup carrots, sliced
1/4 cup onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups chicken broth
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp potato starch diluted in 3 tbsp water for thicker consistency (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp chopped parsley

What kind of pot are you using? Is it a ceramic coated Dutch oven or is it stoneware?

Recipe calls for 5 medium potatoes peeled and diced but that did not look like 5 potatoes in there!
