Likes ur work. Had me thinking. I'd love to chat w you about many things. Especially staying away from comfort zones...which is currently stifling me creativity.

You're right in many ways. The evolution of art has meant pushing the boundaries and receiving criticism from the establishment over and over again. I want to recommend my favorite artists Gabriel Orozco, Margarita Dittborn, Gabino amaya cacho, Al borde and Julio Bittencourt.

Post modernism and Contemporary Art is an example of Cultural Marxism

A "dangerous zone" is somewhere on the battlefield like Afghanistan sunshine - stop making up you are somehow 'living on the edge....'1!!!

All those mediocre, look alike artists, exist and have a voice, only because they are exposed by the media in any way. Those individuals have a huge ego and the constant need to express themselves, not something unique or something worth, something high and above them. This is were contemporary art has degraded. Untalented or not worthy people, over exposed and used by those who have a certain political or cultural agenda to promote to the masses.
They have struggled for years to destroy the good quality works with classical values that worthy artists produced. As a result, they ended killing fine art itself.
It is one thing to see mediocre art, but well made. It is another to see works that have obvious mistakes! What have the teachers and art schools become? Don't they teach composition, form and aesthetics any more?
Art should be promoted with meritocracy, not trend or fashion. All these works will be irrelevant in the future, but even the simplest drawing of an art student, that has talent and keeps the "golden rule", will always be a nice picture to look at, even after thousands of years.

Awesome works man! But how ART can be a hard work?? Its imposible, ART is a pleasure, gift, game, happynes, but not a hard work. Nothing what you love is hard work.

That's not true. A creative endeavor when in the confines of a market can put a lot of pressure on a person. Also if he didn't put hard work and dedication into what he does he'd still be doing it as a hobby, not a job.

Willfully political? Damn this painting why limit it with a political agenda? "something to say" is just another "comfort zone".

    • @TomaszMro

Not with every painting though, I think he means that for only a couple of his paintings, many of his works don't seem to be political

Mediocre at best. Look at him spatter. Reminds me of John Minton. And still, this guy is a success.
