Great video. So i do the same thing to test what cylinders are firing (pulling plugs wires) After shocking myself a ton of times my neighbor brought over a rubber handle wire puller. Looks like heavy duty cooking tongs. Haven’t finished watching video but a huge thing that happens with these cars is clogged fuel filters and also clogged fuel screens located in the tank. Sounds like this could be your issue. I found sea foam will clear out mine too and than changed filters and it was night and day.
Did you ever find out what that noise is?! I have the EXACT same noise in my bmw 740i right now and can’t diagnose it. Super inconsistent and it goes quieter when you hit the gas but loudest at idle
Check one of the next video, I got the car fully working like new. Could be a vacuum leak or a bad coil/wire. Pop coil wires off one at a time and see if you can find one that makes no difference. That means it wasnt firing to begin with. It’s probably some sort of misfire. Thanks for watching
just a point...shouldn't the wires from each distributor cap run to plug on that cylinder head bank? I have a M104 and not the V8 so I don't know but running wires left to right seems odd
Thanks for the video, I learn a lot about my 1998 SL500 from you. I don't care too much if I see your face or not...but please drink your beer out of a glass, you aren't an Australian! :) Where do you download those pages of information?
@@Maybe1Someday Thanks, I have an iCarosft MB 2.0 with a 38 pin adaptor, the info I meant was at 10:25 test sheets, I'm sure I have seen you refer to similar material in other videos, maybe on your Fupabox account?

Caps and rotors are on the way. I dont think any of the coils are bad but Ive only ever gotten a code for ignition coil one and it was still giving spark. Thanks for watching
I'm cracking open a Stella. Good idea and love your videos.
Thanks for watching

Ive never looked into that but have heard of it. If you had to buy a MAF sensor where would you buy one from?
IT TAKES PREMIUM GAS ❤❤❤

Nope, you can look it up if you want to. The distributor caps actually say what cylinders they go to. Thanks for watching though
@@Maybe1Someday wow..interesting...good work !

@@Maybe1Someday Sorry for the mistaken identity, to me a Brit, your accents sound the same.
Great, but its still too slow. You will fix it though. And it should start immediately, no foot on gas.
