I think the biggest plane they ever flew here was an a318 with BA from New York To London City before COVID 19. London City was actually the first place I ever flew to.
Nope. It's the E195-E2, which is bigger than the A318. Although no airline currently operates the E195-E2 at LCY yet, it has already landed there for the certification process.
I miss the BA 01 Concorde replacement that used to fly from LCY via Shannon to JFK - an A318 all business class - 32 lie flat seats. It was on my bucket list but the pandemic killed the route. They used to stop in Shannon to refuel, whilst doing that, the pax would clear US immigration in Shannon and arrive in the US as domestic pax. Genius. And still a good reason to fly to the US via Dublin where clearing US immigration at the point of departure is still operated.
the remote tower is also used in estonia. Right now Tartu airport and another small airport are controlled from tallinn. They are working on expanding it and adding a few additional smaller airports.
Random fact that has nothing to do with this video: For all the people who hate on Ryanair they only make hard landings because they land on short runways and hard landings are needed to stop safely to Ryanair doesn't deserve all its hate
so happy to see my hometown planes kicking some ass in this challenging strip. 🇧🇷 Oh swiss you should do a video trying out congonhas airport, in Sao Paulo! Way harder than campo de marte
When I thought I did too steep takeoffs, these pilots take their planes off the ground almost vertically with their heavy steel balls in them. My respects. P.D: Can't wait for those 2 planes that come in to Gibraltar lol
6:03 Actually, the A220 is the biggest plane to fly here at this time. By the way, did you know the A320Neo has the autorisation to fly there ! PS: Really excited for you to be at Gibraltar !
Dude what london airport doesn't even have airtraffic controllers for it crazy what if they have a black out of something that turn of the carmas and the equipment
The "Embraer International Airport" deffo deserves a like!
Lol I heard it too
5:55 "guess what, its another f_cking embraer" 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
lmfao

@@eduardoholanda4802 oh ok. That makes sense as the e195 e2 is longer than a 737. I didn't realise it had certification to land at LCY.
The A318 is the bigger plane as their 'size' is measured primarily in weight (MTOW). @@eduardoholanda4802
The a318 is my favorite plane
It’s funny seeing Embraers casually wanting to take off like DC-9s:

Love the spotting videos as always Swiss!
loving the higher quality videos!
Yoo same I love it

That rotation and ascent is insane!
i just love the vlog/spotting videos, i can just grab a snack and watch without blinking, amazing videos!
I love London City! It takes away 90% of the stress of flying into London.
5:53 haha didn't know they were so common with BA
Fr Bru
Also hi supsnail
how the hell are you verified
@@mikaiholder1113 shut up low rank
London City Airport is my local airport so I watch planes from my window and ITS ALWAYS A BRITISH OR KLM E190
If Flybe was still active London City would see a lot more Q400’s and maybe some of their E jets too
Amazing video Nick!
Love your trip report videos🎉
Great Video, loved seeing you spot at our airport swiss !! Happy landings
1:19 - 1:23 that edit was so good and icon
I live in a town a couple. Miles away and with the right conditions you can hear the aircraft power up its really cool
the remote tower is also used in estonia. Right now Tartu airport and another small airport are controlled from tallinn. They are working on expanding it and adding a few additional smaller airports.
The quality of the video is so good! Keep it up Swiss!
Went uni at that campus (UEL), was really nice sitting in the library and watching all the planes do their thing!
Loving watching hard landing when Swiss001 films
Never though Swiss would come to my country! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for these videos Swiss
Great video, London City looks way better in real life
I love the extra effort put into this video , thumbs up from me
Love how they keep spoilers up a little until they touchdown (and love your new concept of flying to lengendary aviation spots)
I was here just a few days ago, awesome video!
Yo Swiss, you should come plane spot at LHR/EGLL because there are TONS of planes that land there every min or two (and takeoff)
Wow. The transitions from IRL to MSFS2020. This is quite impressive. And seamless
A for effort
For some reason I thought it was Xplane 😅
Whoops
@@Coasterpostalt me too😂😂
Love the vids
Just to let you know. There s an airoport called Brasov Airoport LRBV that has the same tower system.

00:00 Air Dolomiti. I was once on a flight Munich - Cracow. Not bad.
Fantastic camera work!
Took of from there a few weeks ago, it was very quick!
11:15 that plane is from Chambéry, and this airport has a circle approach for runway 36👍
Swiss got some good content with the amazing embraers
nice video, I enjoy watching these types of videos
London city airport: the Saint Barthélemy of the UK
ITS SWISS001!!! I love your videos!!
Tysm for visiting my local airport :)

2:07 almost a bird strike😮
4:40 Aren’t those the towers that Swiss001 made a video about a runway on a tower? 😂
I saw this on your stream and im also failing bad for your gibraltar flight experience
I love it that it looks like the planes land on grass
Could you do Planespotting at the BER Airport (Berlin Brandenburg int.)?
I like how you called the video “The HARD LANDING Airport“, but the landings in the video were all perfectly fine😂👍
6:03 Actually, the A220 is the biggest plane to fly here at this time. By the way, did you know the A320Neo has the autorisation to fly there !
PS: Really excited for you to be at Gibraltar !
The E195-E2 is bigger than the A220-100. Idk if there are -300s flying there currently.
@@kingsharkoon Nevermind, I tho the E195 wasn't flying there. Doesn't change anything for the A320 tho
I can't tell but if you did color grading, fantastic job!
Another special video from Swiss
Woww! Now you made me addicted to London City on MSFS 😂😂
What camera did you film this with? It looks great!
thanks for the nice videos
This reminds me of the Swiss Avro landing
Bro, I was thinking the same thing😂
2:06 too close for comfort 💀
Heathrow has got to be next
Nice video quality
Love your vids
Please do a video on the cmc leopard buisness jet it's amazing and is so undetected in the aviation world please do a video on its history
LCY clearly is an E190 nest
Petition for Swiss001 to go to Lukla Airport
6:36 Is that… a replaced rudder???
Banger video again, can you come to munich next?
Also Brindisi airport in Italy has a remote control tower :)
Hi Swiss001 Hope you enjoy your flight😊
4:32 PAUSE 💀
Wow nice video
I went here and stayed at a hotel room actually next to the approach path. Unfortunately I wasn't much of an AvGeek and kept calling them all A320s 🤣🤣
I saw this air dolimiti on approach, it seems to be the same one anyways.
Which Panasonic camera is that? Beautiful quality
Pettition for swiss to talk qbout the hawker siddeley trident
Swiss how was the British weather?
2:21 “boating”
hay thanks great video you know you should land at the sitka alaska airport it has a vary short landing with a runway of only 7,200 foot runway
Swiss man you need to fly the a380 IRL
12:19 swiss blowing swiss
Yo now your going to my favorite airport tomorrow Swiss001 your so lucky
When the Swiss was taking off if that was a 747 you would’ve got blown away 😂
What was up with the KLM taking off so steep? Empty plane?
the 190 is NOT THE BIGGEST PLANE HERE! ITA operates an a220-300 into LCY. its nearly twice the size of the E-jet
You should go to Schipol Amsterdam/ EHAM
Watching from SJO, two minutes after post
PLEASE come to Thailand and plane spot!
“It’s another fcking embraer”
Dude what london airport doesn't even have airtraffic controllers for it crazy what if they have a black out of something that turn of the carmas and the equipment
ayo swiss, what camera do you use?
Cool 😎
Saw u on my flight BA492 or BA 491 can’t renember
The home of the steep approach.
You so cool am mexican and your videos its so good ai love you
I flew to this airport in 2010 with an ERJ 170 instead of the BAW 767-300 to LHR ...
Hey Swiss, what camera and zooming lens do you use?
No Heathrow? Big Jet Tv has a live stream there a few times a week. Lots of windy landings with jets crabbing.
Wasn't the livestream 2 months ago?
I remember it from airport madness
i'm only here for the music ;-)
Sehr schönes Spotten, noch schöner wäre ein Takeoff aus LCY gewesen ähnlich der Landung am Anfang des Videos. LG
i was literally at lcy 2 days after the planespotting live
Day 4 of asking Swiss to review the new A380 in Infinite Flight
was litteraly here like last week i couldve met u no way
