Having enjoyed time with PRAGvec, whilst at watford art college with students whu were in wire (bruce and graham were in the top year) from our inception (when elvis died) in thatsummer! Latimer road was breathing with bands: based in the squats (leccie off the mains and no bath so showers outside in some of the properties backing onto the railway for some of the squats); now redeveloped; 'Nervous' was one of the initiial band compositions something that caught Bernie Roades eye (the Clashes manager at the time) who booked us for a undercard with the Specials/ Clash in Harlesdens late autumn77/78. The concert fell through; I continued with Friendly Valley, Dome and Camberwell Now and as we all do reconsidered.
