One of my great regrets was not seeing Van Hove when he played in my city about 10 years ago. I saw Bennink and Brotzmann many times but missed my one chance to see the third member of my fave free jazz group.
Focuses on Han a great pity not the full performance showing all three in action - all three frenetic and in great form. Han looking very young - he's brilliant and you can hear brotzmann and van hove - where is the rest of this performance
If you can track Albert Ayler footage live at Berlin 1966, which appears in an Ayler documental as a very short excerpt.............or the new Fire Music documentary ? It is said that the Albert Ayler's final show, Nuits De La Fondation Maeght, France 1970, is at the Maeght foundation and that there was a film shown in the 70´s in Europe thanks for your videos
I think SVT owns the main footage of Albert Ayler that was in the documentary. I tried reaching out to them years ago about releasing or selling the footage, no luck. I haven't looked in a long time so not sure if it's surfaced anywhere since ( this was like 9 years ago)

do you mean bells?
@@slmjkdbtlNo - BALLS !
Buy the topography of the lungs on vinyl. Hans bennink goes nuts......the best free jazz improv album ever made.
Dude I would kill to watch the full show
You're not the only one!!!!
Me too!
@@hideouslyhilarious where’d you get this from if I may ask?
Thank you Peter 🙏🎷
Wow !! Bennink seems to have left most of his huge kit at home for this performance
Less room in the van due to the Alpenhorn.
@@shovedheadCouldn't see any alpine horn!
It's a dhung from Tibet.
Peter's old mate Kowald plays an alpine horn in the GLOBE UNITY arond 1970/71.
Now riding around with his bike and a snare drum every day to join in with other musicians he'll meet.
Just met him - great nice bloke!
Full video pliss
Planet Earth is lucky to have Han Bennink, he's a genius (as are his comrades). Thanks for uploading!
Edit: RIP Brotzmann 😞
