As the owner of a 62 GP, with the Trophy 425A, and a 4spd, I Absolutely Love That Car!! It's Truly a Throwback to where Drag Racing began! I Only Wish I could find that intake for mine.🤷
So cool! Love them old school Pontiacs…❤
Beautiful car! Best regards from Warsaw, POLAND
Great to See You on here from Poland.! > My Dad born here. His Dad born in Poland. My last name in Guziak. I hear that there are many with that last name in Poland. Bye..
@@user-ne8wx3tq7r Nice! Thank you. Yes, that is true:)
This car is so cool amazing
Beautiful Pontiac!
Another great interview Joe keep up the good work finding the cool cars!
Very nice and clean car! 👌
NORM!!!!! My buddy for almost 50 years!! Norm & his brother Carroll, great people who know how to make Pontiacs run!!!
>> *Anothet Really Interesting Car, Joe.. *Thanks for All That You Do to Entertain Us..
Cat sedan! This car and Denny Ford's 62 409 Biscayne are the coolest Stockers ever!!! The chrome on this car weighs as much as a Camaro! Most people don't know who Don Gay is! LOL!! Don and Roy Gay owned Gay Pontiac back in the 60's. They ran SS and FX cars. Norm also runs this car in E/SA.
I just watched Bob. Michael run his 62 Grand Prix a couple of weeks ago at Edgewater
What a stylish ride!
Can batteries be moved? I noticed the car is listing to the driver's side when the camera gave us a low front angle shot. Figure at least move the battery to the passenger front side?
Not in Stock. Battery must be in the stock location.
Oh my, I had a 62 when I was in the Army, even the same color. But sadly, it was a four door.
Nothing wrong with a four door!😅
2x4bbl 421!! 3950#! Wow, and 11.10 et! Just those giant chrome bumpers must weigh over 100# combined!
Joe Castello rarely gets technical enough for me, though. I want rear gear ratio, trans type compression ratio etc.
What a great car!!
Congrats, Norm!
He may not want to reveal that info.
750 h.p. to run low 11s at 3900l.b.
@@ejohnson3837 More like 560.
@@JohnW1711stock rear wheel, yes. lots of driveline loss.
What’s the difference between a Grand Prix and a bonnevile?
Rare car! Great to see this car restored and racing 6 decades after it was built!😊
Needed me to interview him.......nothing personal but I KNOW Pontiacs and Norm. "321 cubic inches?" Really. See, that's what I mean
He said 421. It has 421 lettered on the fender.
@@JohnW1711stock I CLEARLY hear "321"
