What beautiful thing to see you tall and confident. Your baritone is glorious. I applaud you, I applaud you! We all do. Thank you for sharing your glorious voice with us.
Your singing is amazing! Your gentle and clear voice remains unchanged from when you were a treble. Even more impressively,I feel more powerful in your voice now.
You were just what I was looking for! Your voice matches mine perfectly, and I'm taking this peice to contest and I strive to train my voice like yours has been.
Bravissimo Cai! 👏 A "classic" piece performed with musicality and clear italian diction. A young baritone voice and musical skills that will give you so much satisfaction!! 😎
what a great thing a new video, the musical skill is always the same, the quality of the video is always the same! how wonderful, congratulations all deserved
мастерство не пропьешь, как умело сдерживается голос, прекрасное чувство , 5555555 гармонииyou can't drink the skill, how skillfully the voice is restrained, a wonderful feeling, 5555555 harmony
This voice has improved so much since age 15. Take it slowly though allow it to develop at its own pace. Look forward to hearing it continue to develop.
I stumbled on this wonderful performance by accident, while I was looking for something else, as one does on UA-cam. It is only the second performance of this piece that I have ever heard, the first being Pavarotti's forty years ago on a local classical music station here in New York. I just found Pavarotti's performance (or something very like it) at ua-cam.com/video/YtjzMsHuk6U/v-deo.html It is, of course, invidious to compare the two: Pavarotti was on a concert stage and Cai was in more austere surroundings, Pavarotti was in mid-career and Cai is at an early stage, etc. But the reason for the comparison is to look at the accompanists. Pavarotti's was discreet, and stayed in the background while the singer evoked the dual emotions of suffering and love that the words call for. Cai was, as always, textured and nuanced, and you can see it in his facial expressions, but the sound was trampled on by the relentlessly loud and mechanical hammering of the pianist. So, Cai, I would love to see this done again, but with an upgraded pianist. And, selfishly, I hope you apply to Juilliard before too long!
I've discovered an even more unfair comparison. I recently found Gigli's 1947 performance at ua-cam.com/video/iMkZdy_oByg/v-deo.html Compared to Pavarotti's interpretation, Gigli's is lilting and optimistic, and it evokes much less of the suffering and much more of the joy in the text.
Cai!!! 😍We've been waiting for a long time :). Your voice - a baritone with a beautiful velvety color - has already been formed. You want it to reach its full mature depth and you take your time so as not to force it. But there is already enough time (more than half a year) to reveal yourself to us.... unless your excessive aspirations do not allow you to do so now... because you prefer a more refined audience.... It would be unfortunate if you he withdrew altogether, gave up for some reason, having such a unique voice 💯👍👏🎶🎤❤☀😃🐯🐬..... Piotr from Warsaw
The voice is in excellent condition and the upper range is sounding more secure now. Don't forget that a little facial expression is always a useful tool, especially as a singer is also a storyteller. The piano is recorded too loud, though, as has already been said in another comment. Keep up the good work!
The accompanist would do well to lighten his touch and remember that he's there to accompany, not drown out the soloist. But superb vocal control from this gifted young soloist.
Singing with a body in adolescent transition is no small task. It sounds like your voice may come with you, in spite of the limited audio capabilities of the recent recordings. Stay focused on breathing (new ribcage and diaphragm) and sustained notes (volume of breath dependent on ribcage and diaphragm). With that new body a voice will settle in. I ended up a bass-baritone and am still singing. I understand that you don't know where you might land. The point is to keep on singing.
You have a beautiful voice Cai and it is developing beautifully. Yet again though, the Piano is TOO overpowering. I don't like being negative, it is not your fault, but tone down the Piano. Take care 🙂
Great ,exceptionally good .thank u for sharing
Dude has extreme model and singer potential.
His grown up voice is just at beautiful as his child voice!!!! So rich and pure and fluid! Love listening!!!
It is amazing and gratifying to see how the adorable boy treble has turned into an equally incredibly talented and handsome young man baritone.
Absolutely!!! Gorgeous young man, fabulous voices.
What beautiful thing to see you tall and confident. Your baritone is glorious. I applaud you, I applaud you! We all do. Thank you for sharing your glorious voice with us.
Bravo indeed. Greetings from New England USA.

Wonderful Cai.
Still a great singer with all the talent needed ! Thank you Cai. Still listenning to your previous UA-cams as as you were a treble.
❤ Beautifully sung! What a beautiful dark voice you have. Those high notes give me wonderful shivers
Your singing is amazing! Your gentle and clear voice remains unchanged from when you were a treble.
Even more impressively,I feel more powerful in your voice now.
Mike, please?
Thanks for sharing, Cai, it's always a joy to hear from you, it would have been even better if the mic was just a tad closer to you. 👏👏👏

Fabulous 👌
I've never heard this song - beautiful! And beautifully sung.
How his voice deepened: from tenor went to baritone and continues to be wonderful!

I’ve watched this young man grow from a little treble singer to this amazing baritone…….well done Cai….. you’ve made it….. 🎉🎶🎶🎶🎶🎉
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 🎄🎄🎄
Beautiful in every way. ❤❤❤
Again piano blasts past beautiful Cai’s voice.
They refuse to learn! Awful recording!
Could well be mic placement, not piano per se.
Really think Cai needs his own mic set up for things to balance out.
It is beautiful, Kay!
I love it! :)
Amazing so much talent, has a great future 😇
What a beautiful voice and what a handsome young man!
Why you say young man? I am 17 years old and i feel i am old 😂
what a great thing a new video, the musical skill is always the same, the quality of the video is always the same! how wonderful, congratulations all deserved
Music. It’s for the Music isn’t it? Always has been. That relationship that you have with it: nothing has changed.
still very good.....from Australia
Really great!
Excellent baroque ornamentation!
Beautiful voice〜😘💕
You have a euphonious voice cai! 💕🙏
Wonderful ❤
Beautiful and technically perfect.
Bononcini’s Per la Gloria d’Adorarvi is not easily mastered but Cai shows us how to bring it to life!!! BRAVO! Wedi'i berfformio'n hyfryd, hogyn.🤓
Well done!
Well done Cai!
Very nice transition in his voice from treble to baritone. Accompanist having a little concert of his own. Hope the young man keeps his singing up!
Bravo Bravo Bravo che bello ragazzo e vice❤️
Nice grace notes and trills. You’re finding your way nicely as you discover your new voice. Good luck, lad.
Belle voix ❤❤ Super
Beautiful the piano comes out to loud 😊👌👍🏼🎶

...25 years ago my first performance with this aria, but as contratenore 🙂
Gorgeous boy
and gorgeous voice as well

Anybody else find the accompaniment too loud?
Not only too loud.
Cool voice
Bravo Cai Thomas 👍🏻
The music drowns and dominates Cai's beautiful voice! I don't want to hear the piano, I want to hear Cai!!!!
Thanks Cai!!! Amazing.

I have the Pavarotti version, but is with an orchestra, which renders the aria more beautiful, more like Baroque.
@@marcellogenesi6390 BTW, I have recently discovered the Gigli version, which I like even better.
Great!, but next time, move the mike away from the piano and closer to Cai.
Rolf

AAAAAAGĢGĢHHHHHHHHHHH OH MY GOODNESS. YOUR NOW 16!!!!!!! WOW.
💖💖💖💖👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙌
Schöne Grüße aus Dresden 🤓
Pity the piano comes out to loud.

Cai's voice is wonderful, but seriously: what's with the too loud piano? Don't you check the sound levels before you record?
Agreed, piano is not the star!
The accompanist would do well to lighten his touch and remember that he's there to accompany, not drown out the soloist. But superb vocal control from this gifted young soloist.
This is a school production not Colombia Studios or The Record Factory.
Sehr gut gesungen, schönes Video
Dark, smooth, very beautiful. Thank you. (The accompaniment is too loud and expressionless.)
This has often been criticized, but these recording guys refuse to learn. It' s always the same; they destroy the beautiful voice of the singer.
@@bgunternNothing destroys his voice - he just really needs his own mic and/or some isolation/mixing.
Could you please sing 'Ich Liebe Dich' by Beethoven?🙏
Puberty took his soprano voice.

Totally agree. It could be something as simple as standing closer to him and farther from the piano while recording.
