I've never been able to decide whether Digit was either supposed to be a **less** or **more** lucid take on Christopher Walken... Either way I remember loving the character as a kid along with Clifford(I think?) the musician guy and always thought it was a shame they weren't given any permanent Muppet status/roles after this show was nixed. However, I also realize those two we're pretty "out there" by Muppet standards, so... *shrug* ... Thanks for the supercut whatever the case!!! Content like this is **the thing** that makes YT so great imo.
thank you!! i made this supercut because i couldn't find one thorough enough for my liking lol. had to do my favorite muppet justice! i totally agree that digit should have joined the regular muppet cast after this show's demise, at least for a little while like his costars clifford and bean. he has really great chemistry with kermit, and he brings his own unique energy and humor that meshes well with the rest of the muppets while keeping things fresh! i think he would have been perfect for the muppets' productions in the latter half of the 90s-- especially could have reprised his role as technical director on muppets tonight and fit in quite seamlessly imo. i also realize that he's a bit too strange for most general audiences, though, so i do understand the decision to abandon him. still makes me sad, however, knowing that he'll probably never make a comeback
digit . ( saw the muppet show season 5 theme song and turns it off) this is not the right opening ( runs off in panic) kermit. ( enters) gee i was kind of enjoying that ( start singing) to introduce our guest star ( whistles )
