I would've loved to have asked him how he gets the kick transient to hit so consistently. No matter what's happening, you can hear the click of the kick transient through the mix. Would've also loved to ask him how he does his side chain.

Anyone know how he does that reversed effect on the kick. Erm... I'm using Logic.
take a kick sample and reverse it, cut off a little at the end and fade it. place it right before your kick. you might also find the reverse reverb technique interesting :)

It'ss actually just a promo vid for both Point Blank and Igloo Ghost. The technical content is irrelevant to the video's purpose. We the viewer are secondary. i.e. a completely junk video promo not worth your time
The video file was corrupted when the session ended so unfortunately that was all lost. However we decided to put it up anyway since Iglooghost is so elusive, anything that dives into his mind is worth watching.

it is so disappointing that you can't see anything he's doing. it makes most of stuff he says rather useless without the context, since he relies mostly on the visuals to explain what he is doing. rather disappointing, since he is one of the producers i most look up to in terms of sound design and layering unique textures.

i fkt w reason back i. the day… it was kinda sht back then… but now, or at least like 10yrs ago, they started allowing outside plugins, so that was huge… that can be thee only issue with it i think… the lack of bein able to use plugins from outside… otherwise its the same thing as everythin else… but man, ableton seemed the easiest to just rip with. Ive used em all, ableton is just soooooo easy to use and audition samples with
