I recently ran into this same issue on my new Norco fluid fs frame. Why the f did some engineer decide leaving off one tab made any sense??

Why does it say on Shimano that this chain guide is 9/10 speed only. I'm confused.
Most of Shimano's gravity-specific gear is Zee/Saint, which is designed around 10-speed chains. I didn't have any issues with chain retention with an 11-speed chain, but I mostly added it as insurance.
@@BermStyle Ok I kin of thought that because its there downhill components. That made it more clear thanks.
