The most spine-chilling thing about this that I'm surprised no one has mentioned is that the fact that the kids thought the animatronics were real is probably the main reason they were able to be taken away and killed. After all, Afton apparently did most of this in suits, and when your favorite character, who you whole-heartedly believe is real, tells you he has a special surprise just for you in another room, most kids would follow him!
I also really like this detail for 2 reasons.
1) Afton helped establish the company with Henry, and so was probably a higher-up for a while (until Henry started to suspect him, I assume). He could've made this decision and hid it under the guise of "not breaking the immersion" to allow himself to lure kids away without being suspicious about not being concerned about the murders. (Which seems like the kind of conniving thing he would plan out.)
2) Fazbear Entertainment was never super strict or informative about their rules, often ignoring risk for the sake of profit. Thinking about it in light of the first reason, Afton could be making things that way for more opportunities for him. It's sickening, but not out of character at all.
I'm gonna accept this as a headcanon. It horrifyingly makes a lot of sense.

dude this needs to get mainstream soon, I've been watching your content for all of two months and it redefines the horror in a way that not even Joe Lonic or Squimpus has been able to do. I gotta say, I'm fairly used to analog horror at this point, and not a lot scares me, but the "behind you" part really got under my skin. That's the first time I've seen someone using an actual full stop on a VHS tape, even the static (almost like a 4rth wall break), which combined with the sound still going actually made me terrified, and I commend you for that. Great work, really.
I didn't expect that tape would show that fast.
