It goes a long way towards resolving the situation quickly and efficient like😂 although screaming "were all gonna die" does have that dramatic flair to it.
Did I hear a pilot change on the comms? Sounds like maybe seeing as this was a visual approach the cracked windshield was on PM's side? And once they got got down low enough a blowout was no longer a problem everything could calm down in the cockpit? But really nice hearing proper comms procedure being followed and not the "Maverick" shorthand we so often hear in US airspace.
Pilot was one cool cat.
It amazes me how calm and nonchalant everyone is through the whole ordeal.

The other pilot only responded once.
If the approach is Cocktail & Bourbon, you must be heading to Vegas!
Yikes! I wonder how often this occurs
Is that Big Ern? Sounds like it might be.

?
2.5 hours of fuel on board 100 miles after takeoff? Damn lol MFs were gonna land in PDX with no fuel
What would cause the crack? Were they hit by something or was it just stressed?
At 38,000 ft I doubt it would be a bird, but windshield cracks are not that uncommon !! !
