Animals understand there are people like me who are unhinged. So when they see me they scurry. I rarely have many problems from them after I spoke several words 😂😂😂😂
David, we live in the neighborhood, around the corner from you and we're trying to start a garden! Our 3 year old is gutted that iguanas ate her watermelon sprouts 😩
Hi neighbor! So sorry about the watermelon sprouts. Is there enough of the vine to sprout again? Or will you have to replant? You may want to consider putting up a barrier. Another idea is that maybe a motion detector sprinkler might scare them off.
this is my first yr dealing with them and man, they just ate every leaf off my new bean starts....now I have stems. I tried bird netting but was horrified to find small lizards strangled in it trying to escape! NIGHTMARE.... don't want to kill the natives!!! I hate to even throw that crap away knowing some other critters at the dump will die in it.
I'm glad I don't have to manage iguanas; seems like quite a task. It's good to know there are so many options to help.
Yeah, but you have challenges I'm glad I don't have to manage like more extreme weather. And are you still moving to wild boar county?
@@StacksUrbanHarvest I am! 🤣🤣🤣🐗🐗🐗
My first year is going to be like a season of Survivor. Haha

@@StacksUrbanHarvest we're going to try a barrier and replant - the sprinkler's a good idea too! Thank you
Am thinking wind chines should scare them away.

@@facingfacts7830 That's why I recommend using tulle fabric instead of bird netting. I talked about other animals that get caught in the bird netting.
